House had everything we needed to have a fun and comfortable stay!

The location was ideal right on the lake. The property had everything you need to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Dining space outside, chairs and umbrellas right in front of the lake, beach towels, extra sun hats, etc. The kitchen also had everything you needed. House was comfortable, beds were comfortable.

Some windows were without screens which made it a little hot in the house. Would have been nice to open all the windows.

It was a wonderful few days away in a cozy home with a beautiful view and relaxing surroundings.

The view from the home was absolutely amazing! I sat and watched the birds and the lake from the table with my coffee every morning. The kitchen had everything that we needed for the week. Games and puzzles galore to keep us occupied when we weren't out exploring.

I didn't see in any of the correspondences that the downstairs keys were for the sliding glass door and not a normal entry door and there were no instructions on where exactly downstairs access even was, so it took some time for us to figure it out. Also worth noting that it wasn't disclosed up front that you needed to go outside and down stairs from the patio to access the 3rd and 4th bedrooms plus their bathroom. We made it work, but weren't expecting it.

Spacious home; lakeside family fun; BUT there's some issues

Lake front property with our own personal dock with a ladder to allow access in/out of the water. There is a nice lower deck area next to the lake with umbrellas and a tub of lifejackets for floating. We loved the dining room with plenty of seating for our family of 8 and view from the kitchen and dining can't be beat! Spacious home for sure and loved being up in the trees (although I think some tree trimming might be in order - see below). Well stocked with some great family games.

This property is old and shows signs of that, which is understandable of a house built in the 70s but some of the upkeep on the property lends to a kind of creepy/dirty vibe. Broken lattice, a few broke down boats and an old dusty vehicle all welcome you as you enter the property. Most of the solar lights that allow you to view loose gravel trails are not working, lots of dead plants, and the spider webs in the rafters and broken/old furniture in the carport are combined to make it kinda unsettling. It should be noted that the downstairs rooms with jack and jill bathroom that is perfect for kids can only be accessed with an exterior staircase, which worked out okay because we have teens, but would have been a NO Go if we had younger kids, especially due to the creep factor mentioned above. The bathrooms need an update badly, not just dated decor, we're talking chips out of the fiberglass in the shower. And now for the worse part, the new AC that was installed can cool the house; HOWEVER, it is on some kind of pre-set timer that automatically turns off the system until 3:45 pm each day, despite setting an alternative temp. Now I get that for your arrival date/time because check in is at 4 pm, but on the days that we're actually staying there, and one in particular that we left for Yosemite at 0700 and had the thermostat set at 75 degrees to insure a nice cool rest when we returned...the AC system auto turned off, and we were welcomed back at 4pm to 87 degree house after an exhausting day of hiking in nearly 100 degree temps. It took until 10 pm that night to cool the house to tolerable, and unlike other houses that we have rented in the past, there was not a single Fan to be found in any of the closets, etc. Thankful that previous commenter warned us about the line to get into the gated community. It sucks!

We will be back for sure!

The location was amazing. The private dock was perfect for fishing and swimming in the summer. The house itself was large with a huge front room for socializing. The large kitchen table was also perfect for the whole group to eat meals together.

The house was older and the toilet in the back of the house was not working. It was running constantly. We looked under the toilet everything was rusted.

Had a great stay. Great views, lots of deer, and short drive to Yosemite. Town is close.

Location was perfect. Great spot to take the family. House had everything we needed.

Nothing I would expect them to fix, but the shower is small.
