First time visiting South Padre Island. Secured parking a plus. Condo location within walking distance of many restaurants and fun activities. The property is Ocean Front with great views off the balcony. Property was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our party of three. Condo grounds well maintained.
Renting thru 3rd Party created confusion on access to Condo. We called and Red Awning was unable to assist, but provided contact number/address to actual rental firm (Fulcron Prop Mgmt) in South Padre Island. We called Fulcron, had to leave message stating later arrival (hours in advance of actual arrival), then no return call. Onsite Maintenance of actual property assisted us with obtaining keys from office. If not for coincidental contact with Mtce Employee, we would have to find a hotel for first night. Not a good start to vacation. Some property cookware and utensils need to be replaced. Peeling drywall/paint in bathrooms needs to be addressed.
