La Loge du Grand Cèdre, gîte de charme

What a location and what lovely hosts! There's absolutely nothing left to be desired regarding the completeness, cleanliness, and furnishings of the apartment. Marie (and Bertrand, of course) thank you so much, you made us feel very welcome. And rest assured, the wine we took home is at rest now for the next two years :-)

Nothing at all! If there is something to say then it would be that our length is not always a plus.

We stayed at La Loge du Grand Cèdre for 3 weeks in August 2025. The gîte was fitted out to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need and was exceptionally clean. The bathrobes and linen were superb. The grounds and pool were gorgeous with so much room that it felt like a private rental. Over the 3 weeks we had the pool to ourselves whenever we wished to swim. Location was excellent with a short drive to Saintes or Cognac and the beach within a 30 minute drive. There were great walks in the countryside all around the property, and you can walk part of the Camino which is within a few hundred meters. Hosts Marie-Pascale and Bertrand were charming and lovely to deal with. We have stayed in about 10 gîtes all around this area and this one was the best. Highly recommended by us.

Exceptional place in a very peaceful environment. The host is fantastic and excellent communication with the hosts I definitely recommend this place
