This secluded haven offers a true escape, with just one neighbour and direct access to your very own private shingle beach.
A bubbling stream winds through the large garden and woodland, leading you down to the shore. Here, your exclusive beach awaits; perfect for launching a kayak, fishing, skipping stones, or simply soaking in the tranquil beauty of the estuary. The setting is idyllic for picnics, wildlife spotting, or enjoying breathtaking sunsets over the water.
Inside, the property is a comfortable and inviting family home. The sitting room offers wonderful estuary views, best enjoyed from the balcony, the perfect spot to take in the ever-changing landscape. The kitchen also shares these spectacular vistas, so you can start your day with a leisurely breakfast while gazing out over the Cornish countryside and sea views. In cooler months, curl up by the wood-burning stove and watch the tides shift from the warmth of your cosy retreat.
The house sleeps six across three beautiful bedrooms. The master bedroom is spacious with a large en-suite, styled in soft blue and cream tones with elegant wooden furnishings. The second bedroom is traditionally decorated, offering stunning views stretching across the lush valley and down to the water. The third bedroom is a charming twin room, surrounded by greenery outside.
The gardens burst into life in spring and summer, with golden daffodils, vibrant wildflowers, and towering magnolia trees adding to the charm of this stunning setting. Along the way to the beach, you'll pass a historic 1920s Tradesman's Caravan—a picturesque feature of the landscape that serves as a unique backdrop for a picnic spot.
Beyond the property, some of Cornwall's most iconic destinations are within easy reach. Schoopers is in a wonderful spot, there were a few niggles, there was no BBQ, I bought one and left it there for others, and most holiday homes I have been to leave supplies, washing up liquid, etc etc, there was only enough for one night at Schoopers. It DID imply this in the details but I think it should be clear. It is not a problem, you just need to know so you bring your own, The dishwasher broke down after a few days, Cornwall Hideaways did respond quickly but could not fix it as it was a new machine so we were without. The visitors guide was confusing, it had not been updated for a long time, wrong rental company information, wrong telephone numbers and confusing instructions regarding bins!
The property itself is in a wonderful site, the long gardens down to the estuary were a children's paradise, and we had fantastic BBQs on the beach. At low water there was great sand banks to roam over, which again the children loved. It is safe to do so for 90 minutes before and after low water, then the water to the beach becomes deep very quickly with a fast current.
The beaches nearby were lovely and a Michelin star restaurant in Rock.
This may sound negative, I hope not, The best recommendation i can give....we have already booked Schoopers for next year

Very poor accommodation in need of a complete update. Pervading damp smell. Flies were a huge problem.
