Inge our host was fantastic. the property is very close to the main beach (200-300m max). the apartment was very well equipped - we didn't need anything at all. the access to the garage to keep our beach toys, bicycles and boats was a MASSIVE plus for us. the cleaner that was available on request and paid for separately by us was trustworthy and really kept the place clean.
this is no fault of Strandhaus though but the street the property is situated in doesn't have enough speedhumps to slow ignorant speedsters down. we were hoping the kids could ride their bikes and explore the area a bit, but we didn't feel comfortable with the majority of cars speeding up and down the road during the day.

The house was very well managed and maintained. The host was responsive to any messages. I use Booking.com for short term accommodation all over the world, and this was, by far, the best place I have stayed in from Booking.com. The host had left suntan creams, after sun, even sanitary pads for emergencies. There was coffee, tea, spices, soap and a well equipped kitchen. The instructions for access on arrival, and how the house worked, local amenities, were well communicated. Thank you to Inga & Wayne for a wonderful and memorable stay in Sedgefield.
