Lovely, unique, and clean. The host family was warm and welcoming. They prepared a DELICIOUS New Years Eve braii for all the guests. We spent the new year in the pub playing darts and by the open fire with the hosts and guests. It felt like we were with old friends and family. The tree houses are COOL! They warn of possible harmless spiders (I guess to be honest just in case) but we saw NO spiders. A breakfast basket is delivered in the morning...again, delicious! We stayed in 6 lovely places in SA, but Teniqua Treetops was our favorite and we hope to return someday!

This unique spot was a perfect place for peace and quiet. We had the Greenbeard unit, named after trailing lichens! It’s a combined cabin/tent. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a lot of rain but enjoyed sitting on one of the two decks on a sunny morning.
