Spacious and charming first floor apartment in historic Old Louisville duplex. Awesome amenities provided and on-site host. Deluxe king size bed.

We want you to feel relaxed on your vacation. Just leave the kitchen clean and we take care of all the linens and trash for you.
The apartment is a one bedroom apartment on the first floor of a charming duplex. The large living room opens to the dining room with a pair of french doors and can be closed to convert this room to another bedroom with complete privacy.

Organic medium roast coffee and decaf are provided as well as lovely teas. If you would like to make any special requests for coffee fixings, with a couple day's notice, we can take care of that for you!

The rental is a private apartment with private front and back entrances.

Great apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Old Louisville has so much charm. The area is loaded with great bars that can be walked to with ease. Very safe day or evening. The architecture in Old Louisville is something to behold. Absolutely stunning. It seems like nothing in Louisville is more than 6 -7 minutes from the house. Bed was comfortable, kitchen worked well for our needs and the host could not have been nicer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay- spacious for 2 like us, doable for 4- particularly if the other 2 are kids. Lyft and Uber available within 3 minutes of each summons, multiple places within walking distance to eat and drink,gorgeous architecture everywhere. Tidy, cool,and well-appointed. Thanks!

This property was simple and easy. Located in Old Louisville and walking distance to everything in the neighborhood was convenient. Check in and access was easy and the space was simple but had everything we needed. No frills, but comfortable and clean.

We were very happy during our 5 days in this charming, old and yet updated home in Old Louisville. High ceilings, wood floors, air conditioning and a great shower all added to our enjoyment. Our host gave us access to use of of the washer and dryer, which was nice. We were able to unwind one night in front of our favorite show on Netflix . The rooms were quiet and the king bed quite comfortable, There is a full kitchen, which we didn't use, but were glad to have available. Our host provided coffees and teas, nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Everything just like home, in a nice neighborhood. We would gladly stay there again!

Our apartment was delightful with all the amenitities. It was easy to get to, in a lovely neighborhood, quiet, safe. There was plenty of room for storing our bags and clothing. Internet was fast and reliable. Heating worked beautifully. There was a dishwasher and washer/dryer available which was really nice. It was beyond clean when we checked in. Sparkling. Our hostess was very responsive and helpful the entire time we were renting from her. We could not have asked for a more delightful stay. One of our favorites. We would in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at our weekend stay in Louisville. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was simple and our host was always prompt in communication. We were within 10-15 minutes of everything we wanted to see around Louisville. (Downtown, Zoo, Louisville Slugger, etc.) And really enjoyed the older neighborhood with it's tree lined streets and local restaurants. I had read others complain about the bed. I'm not sure of the host replaced the bed or what, but I found it very comfortable each night. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Quiet clean cute apartment to relax in, and close to downtown for events. What I’m upset with is VRBO cancelling my other unit at the last minute, and did NOT help me find another rental. Even though I found this one on my own, through your company!

The host was great in helping us as we had a funeral that prevented us from being there our original dates and did not hesitate to credit us for 2 days that we had to cancel. The host has great suggestions on where to eat nearby. We tried several of them and never had a bad meal. The place was great for us to stay for 2 people. Clean, comforable and spacious. Location was close to highway with easy access to and from the highway. Would certainly stay there again. Thank you for a great experience.

The property was very nice and accommodated our needs but the true experience with our stay is with the hospitality of the host. The little things the host provided made us feel at home and made for a great experience. We arrived in the evening so my daughter was slightly worried about the neighborhood until she saw it in the day light. The apartment is in a lovely neighborhood of older homes/apartments with alot of character, there was no need to worry about safety and it was quite beautiful. The check-in process was extremely simple (and much appreciated) and when we needed something in the middle of the stay our host had it for us the same day. The only reason we did not give this property a 5 star rating is because the bed, while comfortable, was very sqeaky. We asked our host about it after it woke us up in the middle of the night and they did try to fix it (it was better the next night) but it was still fairly loud and annoying. I would recommend this property and host.

Great experience…location was central to everything in Louisville and worked great as a home base for our excursions to the Bourbon Trail. Nice amenities! Very well outfitted kitchen and bathroom. Good location for Churchill Downs and Bourbon Trail

My wife and I recently visited to make some stops on the bourbon trail and see some races at Churchill Downs. This was a great central spot for everything we wanted to do. Street parking worked well for us and the unit itself was a great size. The only drawbacks were some of the street noise from the nearby intersection and the bed that squeaked with every movement. The outside noise is understandable since this is in the city, but something to be aware of. The bed was very comfortable, it just made a lot of noise whenever one of us rolled over or adjusted the covers. Not a big deal, but noticeable. The accommodations were otherwise very comfortable and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. There is a very cool walk though Belgravia Court with only sidewalks, beautiful trees, gas lamps and huge houses only 2 blocks away. It’s a fun, historic neighborhood to walk through in general. We were very happy with this choice of location and accommodations.

We had a delightful time at Sieglinda’s charming, Old Louisville home. The home is spacious, filled with the ambience of turn of the 19th century construction but having all of the 21st century amenities. The location is central to almost everything in Louisville although you don’t have to leave the neighborhood and you will still have a weekend full of activity. Walking around the Hill St, First Ave, Ormsby, Third Avenue Square you will find so many architectural gustatory delights that will not want to leave. The house and the neighborhood are wonderful representatives of life in Louisville when it was the Queen of the Ohio. On top of that, Sieglinda was responsive to our requests and very welcoming in all our communications before we arrived. We would definitely stay here if we return to Louisville. It was great. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family of 3 had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Sieglinde was welcoming, responsive before we arrived, and quick to resolve the few minor issues that came up during our stay. The covered back deck and beautiful big back yard make this apartment feel like a hideaway. The proximity to several parks and lots of Old Louisville charm encouraged several long walks.

Beautiful old appartment in the historic district. It is clean and comfortable. No cable tv, but Netflix is provided and the television is Set up for Roku. The owner is friendly and helpful. She provided a list of places to eat and shop from a local perspective. I had a little trouble with her messages but that appears to be technical issues on either Gmail or Vrbo's part and I was able to go back in later and find her messages. And as a bonus... There is a nice little 24 hour diner just around the corner with excellent burgers and breakfast.

We liked the quiet, historic district where the duplex was situated, which had street parking. The bed was very comfortable, and the size of the rental was perfect for a couple. We would have liked a few more lights or at least for some of the fixtures to have their bulbs replaced because the rooms were a little dim for our tastes.

To be located in downtown Louisville this place was very nice and quiet. I loved loved loved the old house feel of the original wood floors and the high ceiling and the big porcelain tub!!! Very cute duplex, quaint, clean, well appointed with all you need except toothpaste and toothbrush.... Plenty of towels shampoo, conditioner and all that stuff in bathroom. Kitchen well equipped as well. Owner is very attentive to any needs and was readily available. Definitely would stay again.
