We are working on renovations other repairs. We are taking a limited number of day sails and plan to retire. Please check back January 2026 we moved from Perry Marina. We plan to rebrand our offers. Thank you !

Great location

Great location

Of the many places we’ve stayed in Key West through the years, this was by far our favorite location. Very convenient to restaurants, coffee, bike rentals and the view can’t be beat. The boat did have an unpleasant odor during our stay, which owners were quick to address. The included sunset sail was the “icing on the cake”. Couldn’t have picked a better spot in Key West for my Miami Vice fan DH’s birthday.

Perfect getaway

The location of the boat is perfect. Just a short walk to Duval St, The Hemmingway house and the Truman house. Extremely quiet at night!! Our sailing trip was the icing on the cake. Captain Matt and Cassie were an absolute delight. Albert and Rhonda, thank you for the best honeymoon a girl (and guy) could ever ask for! We will definitely book again!

The boat was nicely set up. They provided a variety of cold drinks and provided a private 4 hour sail. It was beautiful. Weather was perfect 75 degrees every day and no humidity. Enjoy our visit and would love to do it again.

Great Location and Marina Weekend!

This was a wonderful adventure, but not without a few glitches. Upon arrival, the boat was not ready due to repair issues. (These things happen, we totally understand.) Check in was delayed because of the mechanical repairs and then we had to vacate the boat for an additional 5 hours the next day. In exchange for our troubles, Albert offered a sunset cruise in addition to the half day sail we were already booked for, which was breathtaking and wonderful. Due to the delayed check-in, cleaning was done a little hastily to get us in. Maintenance on the engine resulted in a noticeable fuel/engine fluid smell, which did dissipate with time. Overall, Albert, Ronda, Captain Clay and crew (plus mechanic Mike) were awesome, extremely accommodating, and very apologetic about the issues and made our visit as enjoyable as possible. We had a fantastic trip and absolutely LOVED staying in the marina. Location to all things Key West could not have been better. Customer service by Albert and crew can't be beat!

not for everyone but if you are looking at this property you are most likely a boater or an rver or both, as my wife and I are. Long memorial day weekend with our adult daughter and her husband. Excellent boat, two staterooms each with a large head. standard marine setup. Berths have actual mattresses not cushions (cruisers will know the difference). A/C actually cools the boat well, much better than most marine units. Brand new private shower facilities at the end of the pier that are right up there with some of the nicest marinas at which I have stayed. Restaurant and bar at end of pier also. All the action of Key West within walking distance. Take a cab from the airport a rental is more trouble than it's worth. Pack light. There is nothing you need for a week that will not fit in a backpack. Laundry at end of pier also with coin machines. Capt. Pete (not to be confused with Admiral Albert, the owner) and his mates are great. They are very safety conscious, attend to issues rapidly and if you do a snorkel trip with them will get you as good of an experience as the conditions allow. Overall, a great experience I highly recommend to the nautically inclined.

We cannot thank Captain Albert, Ronda, Karen, Amber, Mike, Pete and Asa enough for a most memorable Key West weekend aboard the St. Vitus Dance for my 50th birthday! We had 6 adults onboard for 2 nights... I only wish we had stayed longer. We did the sunset cruise on my birthday and it was perfect. The boat is clean, gorgeous and a lot of fun for Miami Vice fans. It is docked in the perfect location, close to many restaurants and shops, and just a bike ride or walk away from everything. But the best part was the hospitality! Thank you, Ronda, for my champagne and cupcakes and always being available for all my questions. We can't wait to come back! Leslie Vinson and Friends

We added two days to our Key west trip just to stay on Sonny’s sailboat. The marina was a wonderful place to stay and there were at least four restaurants within a five minute walk from the boat. The sailing trip with Capt Pete and Asa was a wonderful and exciting experience. Hope to return someday for an extended stay on St. Vitus Dance. Next time we’ll bring an inflatable alligator.

The boat itself is awesome. Captain Pete and Mate Asa & Tyler was a fabulous, knowledgeable and fun host. I recommend staying onboard and doing the day sail to get the real flavor of Key West. The boat is located on The Waterfront Brewery, Schooner's Wharf, lots of near restaurants/bars and walking distance to Duval. It’s just perfect area and you do not have to rent a car. The private shower, bathroom & laundry facilities just steps away from the dock and it’s very clean. I would much rather stay in their sailboat instead of hotel.

Capt. Albert, Rhonda and Capt. Pete (and everyone else!) were amazing hosts! Everything went off without a hitch and they were overly accommodating from the start to end. Our sunset cruise was fantastic and Pete was great and entertaining. Will absolutely stay again this time for overnight at sea!

This was a great experience. Our hotel for the week was a sailboat...this property has tons a bars and restaurants with in easy walking distance. We also had a day of sailing, which was pretty cool! Duval st was a short walk. There is a great parking area, but for a week, it is a bit pricy. Thankfully they had a place off site for parking our vehicle. We rented a golf car for our traveling around. Overall it was a fun experience and we would do it again.

What a unique experience for us! The description of the property fits to a "T". Applicable to probably very few, and it is one that we should have thought about being RV owners, at 6'5" be prepared to bump your head a few times! That said, the gentle rocking of the boat makes it very relaxing to just lounge around and rest from a day of walking or a night of crawling. It is located very close to several great places to eat, drink or listen to live music. Thanks to our hosts Captain Albert and Ronda!

Albert and his staff were very accommodating and the boat's location is excellent. It's unfair to be disparaging about the accommodation, but because it is a boat it certainly isn't for everyone. My wife was somewhat motion sick for most of the trip and our clothes and bags ended up with a diesel smell, but again - that's part of sailboat reality. For those with a spirit of adventure, it really can be a great place and the price for the location couldn't be better.

We spent a week on the boat. Albert, Ronda and the crew were fantastic. They made us feel at home, checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed, gave us great suggestions and made our two sailing excursions fun and memorable! We would definitely do this again and the location can't be beat. You should enjoy a camping-like experience but if you do, I would highly recommend any of his boats in the harbor. Thanks!

The boat was in very good condition and the two private staterooms were very comfortable. Everything we needed was on board. Albert the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. We also enjoyed our included sail. The weather was perfect and captain and crew were very knowledgeable and pleasant. We enjoyed spending the day sailing and telling stories of each other’s adventures. Our only regret was that we didn’t book our entire stay in Key West on this beautiful sailboat.

My party of six was well accommodated on Captain Albert's boat! Albert was great host, and the sunset tour was an absolute blast. The boat itself was walking distance to everything that we wanted in Key West. I fully recommend this spot.
