About this cabin rental
Clean and cozy newly remodeled cabin on beautiful Wabedo Lake. This cabin sits on a heavily wooded lot with 300 feet of shoreline. Cabin has two bedrooms with new knotty pine bunk beds. Please bring all of your own bath towels, kitchen towels and pot holders. These are NOT provided by us. Open floor plan features new full sleeper futon, TV DVD player and Wifi. Enjoy board and card games when you're not on the lake, provided by us. Full kitchen/dining with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, charcoal grill, etc. 1 bathroom with shower.
New gas fireplace for those chilly evenings. Newly painted ceilings, and walls. New knotty pine six panel doors and updated handles, hooks, ceiling fans and light fixtures. Plenty of windows and patio door to enjoy the cool lake breeze. Step right outside the door to grill your favorite meals. Enjoy inside or outside on the patio table. Weber grill provided. Charcoal, lighter and lighter fluid NOT provided. All hot ashes can be conveniently disposed in the designated stainless trash can next to the grill.
If bringing your own boat, you can launch from the easily accessible public boat launches. Choose between Little Boy or Wabedo, both conveniently located near the cabin. Shared spacious dock for your boat, with bumpers provided.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the dock. Camp firewood provided. Plenty of kindling and sticks provided around the property. Please no outside firewood. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire, roasting forks provided. Head out in the canoe with your morning coffee. Canoe and skiff boat provided with oars for your pleasure. Please provide your own life preservers. Great fishing, swimming, tubing, water skiing or just relaxing listening to the many calls of the Loons and evening frogs. ATV and snowmobile trails are near. Well maintained property. Beautiful lake view. Little Boy & Diamond Crest resorts offer a full line of boat rentals, along with Muskie house marine, and will bring them right to the landing.
Nearby attractions- Enjoy a short beautiful drive to Longville, less then 10 miles to the north. Great quaint shops for your up north memorabilia! Wonderful breakfast, lunch and amazing pizza and drinks and Anchorage Inn! Tabaka's Grocery has anything you need if you forgot something! Full Stringer for bait, apparel, & more. One Stop gas/bait/tackle is almost like a small Cabelas! Frosty's Ice cream, Woodpile mini golf, Longville's iconic Turtle Races have been enjoyed by children of all ages for the last 50 years, every Wednesday during the summer.
Northern Lights Casino located in Walker Mn, 25 minute scenic drive to the north. While in Walker, visit one of the many great quaint shops, along with Reeds Sporting goods and if your a golfer, plenty of great courses!
Hackensack has Bear Paws movie theater, along with quaint shopping and restaurants.
Dog friendly with fee, maximum 2 dogs allowed, 65 lb weight limit. Well behaved dogs only. Pet fee $25 per night per dog. No cats or other pets allowed. Pet Policy: We do allow pets. $25/daily fee. All pets must be leashed or tied while on premises. Guests will be financially responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

Wabedo Lake is a great Crappie ice-fishing lake. We are located 20 minutes south of Leech Lake which is a premier Walleye winter destination. Many local lakes have trophy pan fishing opportunities. With access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails from the cabin. You can get to towns such as Outing, Remer, Longville and Walker. Lots of snowshoeing and cross country skiing near Longville. When you return from your outdoor winter adventure, you can enjoy a cocktail or hot chocolate with a movie (DVDs or streaming) by the gas fireplace inside.

Cabin is well appointed on a great fishing lake, and priced right, George and his wife have a nice property and he knows how to take care of the guests, no complaints.

Place was in a stunning and quiet area, beautiful and homey cabin. Very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing get away!

Quant little property. Very tidy. The AC did not work well and it was a hot weekend. There were also small black bugs all over the kitchen and bathroom. The host lived next store but was not invasive.
