We had a lovely time at the cabin. There are a few small things we would have changed. The place could have used a bit more cleaning (there was dog poop in the front yard, and dog hair under the living room couch that floated out when the ceiling fan was on). The upstairs TV was a little old, so we couldn't use Hulu or Disney plus on it, so there wasn't much to watch.
However, the house was large and very accommodating. There were plenty of water toys, and the trail nearby gave us a lot to do with our time. The host was very polite. We had a very fun time and would love to return next year!

Our family had a great stay. Fall colors were spectacular and had a great time playing board games with the family. House, property, and host were great.

We had a marvelous time on a wonderful lake with beautiful views. Great biking to Walker, Nevis and Park Rapids on the bike path that is pretty much out the front door. Lots of sunnies and bass to catch off the dock and wonderful kayaking and floating on the lake.
The cabin was perfect for our needs and we highly recommend staying here.

We returned to this little slice of heaven for another wonderful week of soaking up God’s beauty. The lake showed us different personalities as the wind picked up, or the rain fell and the sunshine returned. The ducklings came with their mama and hovered near our dock. Deer and their fawn showed up every morning, around 6:30. It couldn’t get any better!!
Joel, the property owner, had made even more improvements to his lake home. Two lovely tables, with umbrellas, for his huge deck, a game room, on the lower level, that included foosball, and hockey tables, a second television, another couch, and cool lights around the room. A new bunk bed was added to the queen and single bed already on the lower level.
The place is spotless, the kitchen fully equipped, comfortable beds, as well as an “L” shaped couch and great recliner in the living room.
We had an issue with working the air conditioning, so called Joel. He had an HVAC technician show up promptly the next day. Mike fixed it perfectly and was SO cordial.
Thank you for this good memory we can tuck away for another year, Joel.
