WE six senior citizens, friends from elementary school, enjoy being together wherever we might be, so nothing can dampen our spirits when we are together. The beautiful home in which we stayed made us sad because it seemed so unloved. It lacked a loving touch which would have included necessary repairs and tidying up. Pots pans were put away greasy and dirty. Closets were disheveled; the drip pans on the stove had the remnants of food from the last dozen tenants and needed replacing. The ground level floor had an unpleasant odor and had not been vacuumed. The main floor toilet rocked!
The first day was spent cleaning, washing dishes, pots and pans, and sanitizing the living areas. It would take so little to bring this home up to the level that would welcome its guests more lovingly. Access to the beach was difficult for octogenarians! But, we still had a great time! Thank you!
