About this house rental
Rejuvenate in this immaculate luxury suite surrounded by nature on the edge of Barrie and Oro/Shanty Bay, close to golf courses and ski hills. Four kilometres to downtown bars, restaurants and shops, accessible by waterfront bike and walking trail. Heated travertine marble floors throughout, large architectural windows with nature views. Separate dining room seats six, open kitchen and living space with breakfast bar, stone fireplace and gas log set, granite counters, stainless appliances, in-suite laundry. Spa bathroom with double sinks, walk-in shower and rain head. Large master with king foam-top mattress, ceiling fans, walk-in closet. Adjoining den/office with sliding doors and a queen Murphy bed when wanted as a second bedroom. Private patio for grilling and dining off kitchen. Quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. No loud noise or parties are permitted.

Loved everything about this place, excepting the absence of a spa hot tub, shown in ad, but not on premise. I perceived from communications surrounding this error, that it appears to have been a listing error by VRBO, that went unnoticed by the host until our discovery of it once we settled in. Decided to deal with it afterwards, which yielded no results by VRBO, who attempted to contact the host on a conference call after we arrived back home from our 5 night stay on the property. They left it to me to contact the host for a partial refund, which I believed to be unfair, and more justified if any refund to be had was to be from VRBO , not the host.
Sufficient to say, didn't want this detail to spoil an otherwise very enjoyable stay at a beautiful property. What do you say, VRBO, or better yet, what are you gonna do?

This suite is truly First Class accommodation operated by First Class people! The unit was very clean, very well appointed, very comfortable and located in a beautiful, quite, neighborhood. We would definitely return.

Everything in the description of this property rings true. The kitchen has everything needed to really cook, and the king size bed is super comfortable. It’s in a prime location, tree lined and quiet. We felt so comfortable and at home during our time here. Five star ratings all around, and again, simply splendid! Thank you, Danielle!
