Vacation Home in Barrie

It may have been my mistake but I was not expecting the renter and a man to be staying in basement… also continuously heard them walking up the stairs to the door to I assume listen to us and then walk back down. There was also a camera in backyard garden area pointed towards kitchen window which was not told to me. The rented being in backyard often we felt we couldn’t use backyard. Communication was good via text but when there English was very difficult for renter. Also we wasted time and gas bc the renter did not mention that there are 2?exact address for 3 different places ..: she forgot to mention that so went 25 mins out of my way.

Older home in tightly built neighborhood. Met my needs.

The property was clean and tidy. The owner met us in the driveway and showed us around. She was lovely.I highly recommend "One Forty Seven" restaurant. It was so good that we went back the second night.

Iwanted to be close to my mom, it was convenient for that. I cook meals for my mom too and the place was not equipped for that, the iven didn't work properly, took 5 hrs for lasagna! The kitchen is very tiny and has cluster all over it so room wasn't efficient and pots provided not adequate. My biggest concern was the landlord lived there with her grown son and they could hear me and I them! It was too cool to sit outside but you wouldn't have privacy, they argued alot. The house is very old so the cleanliness was affected, mold in places.The landlord was very pleasant but obviously lived in the rented part. Room was locked, cupboards locked, signes everywhere of what not to do or touch. There's one towel bar in the bathroom and a sign telling you not to remove or use the towel, and a pair of shoes underneath. Weird
