We spent so much time on the lovely lanai watching the surfers and turtles below. The view is great from inside too with the huge corner windows as well as the sliders onto the lanai. We were only able to tear ourselves away from the view to take advantage of the best snorkel spot on the south shore RIGHT NEXT DOOR, Just grab a mask and fins and walk outside. Also next door is the best place to get a drink and watch the sunset! We definitely hope to come back!

Front row seats on a popular surfing spot. we also enjoyed visiting the nearby Spouting Horn several times.the wall of windows facing the ocean opens, so it feels like all the living room and kitchen are part of the lanai. AC also works, tho we turned it off to open the windows instead. adequate kitchen, comfortable beds, nice closet of loaner beach stuff plus beach towels. Figuring out how to get the parking pass was the confusing part of checking in (that and figuring out to open the outer front door to find the electronic lock on the inner front door; we tried putting our code into another keybox nearby instead first)

This unit on the third floor had great views of the ocean, surfers and sea turtles. At dusk, thousands of green parakeets fly in to spend the night in the palm trees. Around the West end of the building you can rent snorkel gear and snorkel from the small beach. You will see an amazing number of fish. Every morning we walked up to Living Market for coffee and pastries. Great place to stay.

This condo has fantastic views. We watched surfers and turtles daily from the lanai. The setup of 2 bedrooms and 2 baths was great for friends traveling together. The elevator was convenient and appreciated. Check-in was easy.However, there were a few items that need to be addressed. The light over the dining table was out, as well as the lamp and nightlight by the front door. The cleaners need to do a better job on checking lights as well as cleaning. The floors were dirty, there was dust hanging from the lamp in the room with 2 beds and the box fan was filthy. There is no AC in that bedroom, which was disclosed, so the box fan is needed. The shower floor had mold and could use a good scrub. There are tiny roaches in the kitchen and bath. We stored bread, cereal and chips in the microwave. The unit and furnishings are tired and in need of an update.The main issue though was the electricity. It would randomly cut off and on, multiple times throughout our stay. We wound up using a flashlight to shower with because the hall bath has no window or other source of light. If the power went off during your shower, you were totally in the dark. That was troubling and is a safety issue. I reported it but did not receive a reply. However, the toilet broke and that was resolved the same day, and we didn't have to hang around for maintenance, which was appreciated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't return until these issues are addressed.

We enjoyed our stay. The location and view are fabulous. Saw turtles, spinner dolphins and even whales spouting in the distance. Watched surfers and beautiful sunsets. Snorkeling in bay next to condo was great. Really appreciated all the beach gear that was available to borrow and kitchen was well stocked. The decor is a little faded/tired but really, the view, location and amenities were top notch. We would love to stay again.

I love Kuhio Shores. I’ve stayed at this complex my last 6 visits. The condo is well furnished, clean and has everything you need. Everyone always leaves a little something in case you forget (sunscreen etc) Very comfortable and well taken care of property. Can’t wait to return next year. You won’t be disappointed to stay here. The views from the Lanai were amazing! We got to watch 3-5 sea turtles in the water every morning and evening! The shower is actually IN the second bedroom, which steams up the room a bit, but with the AC on in the other room and the fan blowing, it’s manageable. We had a great time and would stay here again!

This was an incredible experience! Superb condo, a view that took our breath away every time we walked through the front door, and an amazing location / home base from which to explore the island. Owners were fabulous with communication and amenities, everything in the condo surpassed our expectations and then some. If we come back to Kauai, we are going to move heaven and earth to book here again. Thank you for a space that helped us live our dreams.

I took my 25 and 23 grandsons to Kauai and really wanted a central place to stay. They both surf and the best place was in front of our condo. Having 2 bedrooms and baths gave us privacy and the beds were super comfy. We spent most of our time on the patio just listening and watching the surf. We chose the perfect condo and I highly recommend staying there.

Magnificent panoramic view of ocean! Good communication with owner. Convenient parking and easy access to unit. Kitchen well stocked. Unit is in need of a deep clean and update. Uncomfortable furniture, mirrored closet doors that are difficult to open due to rust.

This is a great condo location. Right on the beach. Everything is local. Koloa is a darling town. Poipu beach is wonderful for snorkeling. The only problem with this unit is that the bedroom with the two twin beds has a very strong smell of mildew. My daughters had to sleep with the window open.

This is very old and lacks love. They bank on the view alone. Once the wow factor is gone you realize there are no window coverings a basic home necessity. If guests are sleeping in the living room they wake up with the sun. Next the guest room had the most odd pungent smell. I had to keep the door shut. Thankfully we didn’t need that room. The master closet takes muscle to close due to the eroded rust on the tracks. It was the least cared for property we have ever stayed in. It was clean but you can only get old so clean. We knew it would be outdated but not to the extent we experienced. Zero quality everything is basic entry level.

This beautiful third floor unit has floor to ceiling windows directly overlooking the breaking waves on the beach below. I greatly enjoyed gazing into the waves and seeing green sea turtles and spinner dolphins right outside my windows. A south facing patio gave access to both sunrise and sunset. The furnishings were comfortable and the housewares etc were everything I needed. Close to lots of activities . I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the condo to discover construction/concrete repair underway at the complex. There was scaffolding and work going on right next door - lots of noise and dust. We contacted the owner, apparently he was not aware of the extent of the work being done. The work moved to another area of the complex, but a good portion of our vacation was disrupted. The owner really stepped up and refunded our payment for the days that were affected, which we truly appreciated. The condo itself is nice, but a little tired.

We have stayed in 314 three times before for good reason. The view cannot be beat. As soon as I open the door to the condo I feel my blood pressure dropping. Comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, updated appliances, plenty of cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. Very clean condo. Beds are comfy. I love sitting on the lanai with my morning coffee or evening cocktail and turtle watch. Condo is within walking distance of The Beach House, a wonderful restaurant with great food and the best mai tais. We never had to contact the host because everything in the condo was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Amazing views! Holly & Gregg are very responsive. We’ve been renting #314 & #315 for 6 years. No other condo building can match the views. There are some updated appliances. Nicely stocked kitchen Wish the second bedroom had AC… it gets very hot in there. The rest of the condo has GREAT AC!!!

This was our second stay at this amazing spot. We loved watching the turtles and surfers from the waterfront lanai. This is a very comfortable unit. Nice king size bed. Everything we needed for making breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again!
