Fantastic 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo resort. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean from the patio just steps from the white sandy beach. Make sure you head out to the pier each evening at sunset to see picture postcard views.
This condo suite is updated with all new furniture and boasts two large bedrooms and two private baths. In the Master Suite, there is a King sized bed along with dresser, night stands, large closet and big screen TV. Wake up each morning to the rolling surf just outside your sliding doors to the patio. The Guest Suite has two Twin beds (conversion to King upon request) as well as dresser, night stand, large closet and big screen TV. The living room features a sleeper sofa, recliner, and additional seating as well as a big screen TV. High speed internet/WiFi provided.
The full kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare a romantic gourmet meal, or just Margaritas! There is a washer and dryer located in the unit as well as central air conditioning and remote controlled ceiling fans throughout. This is a very comfortable layout for couples or a family.
Relax on your private beach or beside the temperature-controlled swimming pool. Stroll out to our private fishing pier and throw your line in to catch the best fish in the Keys. (fishing gear is provided) Choose your dining pleasure locally at 4 seafood restaurants within .25 miles. You are also within walking distance to multiple charter fishing opportunities and a dive shop to head out and enjoy the water for a day.
Casa Clara Resort boasts private tennis courts on-site, and a nine-hole golf course is less than a mile away.
Nearly ALL listed activities are within walking/cycling distance from the resort, with a designated bike lane throughout the island for you to walk, run, cycle or rollerblade.
Airplane and Helicopter Sightseeing tours located within 1 mile. Power boat rentals are a short walk/bike away.

Clean and quiet. Great Location

First of all, the condo is managed by the owner who lives out of state. Therefore any issues we had we had to contact him by phone. He had no one in the area that could do routine maintenance. I gave one star for cleanliness of the Condo do to the fact that upon our arrival we walked into the unit and found it had not been cleaned after the previous renter had left that morning. After phones calls with the owner we managed to work out the matter. He stated we would get a credit for that night, and $100 for a nice dinner. Housekeepers showed up the next day at 6PM’ish and left around 7PM’ish. The closet door in the master was off the track, the blinds on the second bedroom window were on the floor, the patio door in the master we could not get open or the blinds on it. The screen on the patio door in the living room was torn and did not open very easily. These are minor repairs but when there is no one down there to take care of the fixes it is very disturbing. Communication with the owner was very good, but again he could not fix anything for us while we were there for 15 days. The location is great, the complex is great, the people staying in other units were great. The owner has offered a discount for 2024 if we wish to come down again. We are still thinking about his offer. Having just gone through the pandemic, the fact that we were in a place that the previous renters had just left 6 hours before us was disturbing. The upside was that the owner was at least easy to communicate with, he was very apologetic as well as embarrassed. WE were lucky that the previous renters had left the unit neat, the kitchen was tidy no dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The management of the complex has nothing to do with the unit we were in as the owner uses VRBO and not them to rent the unit. The time there was heavenly, 80 + degrees, blue sky, bright sun NO RAIN for 15 days.

Love the area. Beautiful grounds, warm pool, nice beach, fishing pier and people were very friendly. Key Colony Beach is a wonderful island with many activities going on. We enjoyed the tennis and pickleball courts. We did not use the bikes provided since we brought our own, but they are very nice. The condo definitely needs updating. Living room sofa was not comfortable. Bathrooms are very small. Primary bed was comfortable. Kitchen is stocked well. Appliances worked great except there is no ice maker. We were very disappointed in the sliding doors. The primary bedroom doors did not work at all, never able to use. The living room doors were very hard to open even after we cleaned the tracks. We had to run the A/C the whole time because we couldn't open doors or use the screens. Living room doors were the main doors we used since they walked out to a nice little patio. Owner said he will fix doors when he comes down next time.
