About this house rental
Located in Palmetto Dunes, the 2400 square foot home sleeps 1-10 guests with 4 bedrooms, each with a full bathroom. There are three bedrooms with king beds, one room with a queen bed. There are two common areas (living and family rooms). The family room has a fireplace and full sleep sofa and opens to the kitchen. The bedrooms, family and living rooms all have TVs. The kitchen is new with stainless steel appliances, granite counter/breakfast bar. The dining room has a 8 foot table for large gatherings. A washer and dryer are also available for use. The outdoor deck has a table and 6 chairs and additional built in bench seating. We provide an outdoor gas grill and smoker, private heated pool and spa. We have a dock to the 11 mile man made lagoon system, which is the second largest in the US. This is a perfect location for fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying the birds.
Palmetto Dunes has on site bicycles, kayaks, tennis and pickle ball courts and three golf courses for additional cost.
We use Island Getaway to provide quick turn key support to make your stay enjoyable! Shortly after completing your booking, they will provide key code access, gate pass, and provide schedule for our weekly maintenance (pool service, waste removal). We have an elevator with access that can be provided upon request. Pool can be heated upon request at no additional charge.

Loved this house and location. Property Manager was super responsive. 5 inches of rain on arrival day contributed to flooding in the area. Pool was supposed to be cleaned on Sat but they could not do that. I called on Tues to ask them to come clean it and she had them out the next day. This house is laid out nicely and the all the bedrooms are a good size. Beds are comfortable. There are 2 living areas so you are not cramped. Beautiful neighborhood. Bike path at end of street (5 houses up). Beach about .6 of a mile away on the bike path. Paved beach access. Lots of amenities at this house. Kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever for a rental. You can rent a bike with a pull behind cart so you can carry your beach stuff. There is a shuttle run by Palmetto Dunes which will pick you up at your house free and take you various locations. I was skeptical about going to Hilton Head because we always go to Emerald Isle. I would come back and I would definitely stay here again!

Well stocked home! Comfortable for large families! The pool was wonderful, only a couple small issues, very quick response when called for assistance. Made our first trip to Hilton Head memorable and leaving us all wanting to go back! Would definitely stay again!

Pros - The property and community were beautiful and we enjoyed the close proximity to not only restaurants in the community but outside the community as well. The 4 bedrooms with their own bath was a huge plus with different family members present and the beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool and hot tub were great! Access to the property was easy and the elevator was is a huge plus for elderly guests.
Cons- We had to drive to The Island Getaway company to get our guest passes and elevator key after already driving 11 hours. The house was not cleaned very well. There was food under the couch, spiderwebs (that looked very old and big ) in vault ceilings, clumps of hair on the bedroom carpet, dirty dishes in the cupboards and the elevator had a musty odor. There was a moisture collector in the elevator but it was very full.
With all of that being said, other than the cleaning issue it was a very nice property and we enjoyed our vacation at this property.
