Honu Hale is a luxurious vacation home located in Destiny by the Sea – an exclusive private community in Destin hosting some of the most beautiful homes on the Gulf Coast. The name Honu Hale is Hawaiian for Turtle House which is the perfect name for this tropical hideaway. With a private beach access inside the neighborhood, you'll be able to walk to the beach in just two minutes! The home also features a fresh-water pool for irritant-free swimming right in the backyard. For an additional charge, the pool can be heated as well. The home comes with plenty of built-in entertainment like the second-floor game room and an outdoor pool table on the second-level balcony.
On the first floor, you will find a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel upgrades and appliances including a double oven, a 5-burner gas stove, side-by-side refrigerator, and two dishwashers. Two kitchen islands provide plenty of seating and food preparation space. Adjacent to the kitchen lies a seating area with a flat-screen TV, two wing back chairs, and a love seat.
Now, let's talk more about that game room mentioned earlier! On the second floor, you'll find a huge Game and Media Room. This room includes foosball, an old-school arcade table (featuring the Ms. Pacman game), air hockey, and two mounted, flat screen TVs! Head down the hallway and out onto the balcony where you'll find the pool table for continued entertainment! Members of your group will surely be competing for who gets to stay in the bedrooms on the game room floor!
Two beautiful guest suites with king size beds can be found on the second floor as well. Both have access to their own full bathroom. The game room also holds a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements. The third floor houses two grand Master suites with private bathrooms and private balcony access. The columned balconies are ideal for enjoying the gulf breeze and calming atmosphere of living near the beach. An additional bedroom on the third floor holds two queen-over-queen bunks and a twin bunk.

Our entire family (son’s family and our daughter’s family) all met here for a week. There were 11 in all ranging in age 72-8. Plenty of sleeping spaces and the location was excellent.

We stayed at the property in June 2021 - a group of 7 adults + 8 kids ranging from 2 to 15 years old. It was the perfect location & setting in a beautiful neighborhood. The beach was a quick walk across the street, making it easy for kids to go back/forth between the beach and our house (which we did a lot). The community pool for the neighborhood was just across the street from us. And we loved having our own private pool. The property is very well maintained and exactly as pictured. Appreciated having the rental bikes. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great house for our family vacation. Most in our group thought it was the best Destin vacation we’ve had and we’ve had many! House was perfect for our 2 families, adult children and grandchild. Location to the beach,private pool, large kitchen to cook and eat in, bikes included and several games gave us plenty to do without leaving the community! We were able to socially distance same as we are at home, have everything we needed and feel somewhat protected from covid. Well needed fun and relaxing vacation.

Weve stayed in about 15 homes in Destiny by the Sea. This was by far our best trip ever. This home was just completely renovated and it shows. Best pool weve ever had in the neighborhood as well. Sad to see so many older homes in disrepair in such an amazing neighborhood, but this house delivered. Five Star was amazing to work with. Provided bikes for our use at no cost as well as many other amenities such as free golf and fishing. After this trip we would never use another company. Thanks so much for the amazing memories!
