Our stay was awesome! The home was beautiful, clean had all the amenities that we needed. The bedrooms were spacious as were the other rooms. The most popular room was the patio, with its view of ocean! The location of this property was perfect. In between the beach and the FunZone and close to the ferry to go to Balboa. Shauntelle helped make the check in process easy and she was quick to answer questions. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and of course ice cream shops! I would definitely stay there again!

This place was a dream. You can't ask for a better location in Newport and everything inside the house exceeded our expectations. Great natural light, vaulted ceilings, and deck area that looks out over the ocean. The host Shauntelle was a gem as well. Super responsive and thorough in her instructions and communication. I would easily stay here again. We had 9 guests stay the night which was the perfect amount. Highly recommend staying here.

You'll have a wonderful time at this very competitively priced property! Shauntelle's service level and communication was great throughout the check-in and checkout process. We stayed at the upper level of this property over a weekend. The lower level also had wonderful guests at that time checking in and out around the same time. Shauntelle managed everything so well and worked accommodated all our requests promptly!With the VIP experience booking, Shauntelle provided us with enough beach chairs umbrellas, canopy etc. that made it an unforgettable vacation! There is a really nice view of the oceanfront from the deck. The Balboa parking lot is also right in front which makes it so convenient for carrying stuff in and out! There are a couple of tight spots for parking in a garage behind the house. Bring some firewood and marshmallows if you want to use the fire pits which, again, are only a very short walk from this property! You'll have lots of fun!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Shauntelle’s beautiful beach house. Shauntelle is an incredible host, was very attentive, and ensured we had a “VIP” experience. We enjoyed walking to the beach, the ferry taking us to Balboa Island, and all the nearby restaurants. We’d love to be back soon.

The house was gorgeous and clean and the location was awesome. In walking distance to lots of great food and shops and the bay. Shauntelle is the best. We were treated like VIP’s. She walked us through everything and made sure we had everything we needed and were all set. Even checked on us a couple times to make sure we didn’t need anything else. We had 13 people stay and felt like we had plenty of room. The balcony was one of our favorite parts. Gorgeous views. I highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to be back soon. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived, we didn’t want to leave. The home was perfect for our family’s needs and we loved the views especially. Our host was very friendly and took me on a tour of the home when we arrived making sure we knew where everything was for our stay. The location was perfect and within walking distance to all the places you’d like to visit. This home and its lovely location is perfect for those all day beach days. We were just a few steps away! All I can say is WOW! This experience I had this weekend was wonderful! Our group of 16(9 kids, 8 adults) stayed in Newport Beach last weekend and we were so impressed by the lovely beach house we got to make memories in. The house was so clean, well equipped for whatever we needed, comfortable beds, easy walk to the beach/restaurants, and Shauntelle was amazing to work with! We will definitely be planning another trip to their property in our future!

We needed an accommodation for our big family for a family memorial. Shauntelle's house (We were on the top floor) was the perfect setting for this occasion. We sat on her lovely deck viewing palm trees, the beach, and the sparkling ocean while playing guitars and ukelele - truly idyllic. Coffee on the deck at sunrise was fantastic as well! There's very nice patio furniture and a barbecue on the deck. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep (3 King beds and 5 double size futons available!). Shauntelle provided the sheets and towels (Including the extras we needed for our large group). And with 3 full bathrooms, we never had any pile up when it came time to get ready. The kitchen is stocked and would be easy for meal preparation, but we did not do much cooking there. We did use the wonderful oversized wine glasses though! ;) Parking can be tricky, but Shauntelle explains it very well and we were able to park 3 cars for the weekend without any problem. I would strongly recommend a stay at this beautiful beachfront home!

My husband asked for one thing last year on his birthday and he wanted a 60th bday party with his children, grandchildren and a few friends so I found this beautiful home and say I home becasue describing it as a house just wouldn’t do it justice it felt just like a home away from home right on the beach in Newport we went for bike rides enjoyed the sand and surf had a bonfire and s’mores and lived like kings without a care in the world and Shauntell was a great and wonderful host who was responsive and caring to make sure that we were having a wonderful weekend

The property was amazing and everything was quite nice. The patio was the real winner with an awesome view. One of the best parts though was the communication with Shauntelle, the manager. She made sure that we had everything that we needed for a great time including extra sheets and blankets for the futons, beach equipment, etc. The location was about as good as it can be if you want to be walking distance to all the things, bars, restaurants, The Fun Zone, and most importantly, the beach. Totally recommended.

We had a great time with this beautiful property right on beach front. Easy accesses to all the restaurant/shops parking lot right in front of property. Very nice and clean equipped with all your needs Shauntell the owner was very nice and pleasant with an easy check in and out process.

We were booked for a group of 12, and I was sent a document for linen requests a couple of days before our stay. The only linens listed were for 3 king beds, which was not enough for our group. I had to ask multiple times to have enough sheets for the beds for all of our group. This was the same for towels. I had to talk with the property manager multiple times in the days leading up to the stay to ensure we had adequate linens. Laundry was listed as an amenity, but it is a coin-operated washer and dryer, with no change machine. No stores in town could make change and provide quarters, so we were unable to do laundry. The electricity for the kitchen appliances (including the fridge, microwave and dishwasher) went out intermittently. There was only 1 parking spot, and we were asked to move by the other occupant of the house (lower level occupant). No broom was available until we specifically asked for one, to be able to sweep sand on the floor from the beach.

If you know the area, this is not only a prime location, but gorgeous view. I can't say enough about our host. She was so pleasant and quite frankly we chatted for quite a while at check out but only because she was so fantastic. Highly recommend this location for 3 couples!

We really enjoyed this spacious home right next to the beach and shops. Plenty of room for our family of 16. The host was very accommodating. Great balcony and beautiful view. Our only drawback is that although we were clearly warned about the amount of towels and bedding available, we found it a little inconvenient to bring extra bath towels to avoid a large rental fee. Thank you for a wonderful overall experience!

This beach house was perfect! It’s right on the beach and next to the boardwalk and pier. The first day we got there we hung out at the beach and then walked back to the house and bbq’d on the patio and watched the most amazing sunset over the ocean. We rented electric bikes at the rental place that was 50 feet away and didn’t have to battle for a parking spot at the crowded beach. It was our grandsons first time at the beach and this place made it so memorable for us. Working with Shauntelle was great! She was very professional, friendly, nice and responded right away when we accidentally locked ourself out of the room, she had someone there in minutes.

My wife and I held our small wedding on the beach and stayed here with our guests. Shauntelle was so helpful, guiding us into the best parking for our stay on the phone and even sending us Champagne and wine to congratulate us. Steve the maintenance guy was very professional and helpful throughout our stay helping us with a few minor issues. Parking was a bit of a challenge but Shauntelle did all she could to help us problem solve. The location is a two unit, 2 story place that has a breathtaking view of the water where we watched the pier and dolphins swim by. There is plenty of seating and sleeping space. The bathrooms are remodeled and we’re very clean. The floors left our feet a bit dirty but the coming and going to the sand it was reasonable for a beach house. Overall the stay was really nice, the beds were big and comfy in each room, my guest even felt the futons were pretty comfy. Shauntelle made sure to make us feel at home and we are looking forward to rent it again for upcoming birthdays. Thank you Shauntelle and Steve for making our Wedding weekend relaxing and memorable. This is a great location and property if you like the hustle and bustle of Newport. We had a large group ranging in age from 18-60, so it was perfect to accommodate all of us. Shauntelle and her team were very accommodating and helpful. The one thing that could improve this is to provide more towels/sheets. The listing says it sleeps 16 and we had 10, but the property comes with 6 towels, no beach towels and you need to pay extra for sheets for the futons. No one wants to cart all of those things down on a trip or having to pay extra. Otherwise great job.

Our large family loved our few days at the property! The location is great! Walk out and your directly on the beach with food, shops, bike rentals and ice cream. Susan and the owners were awesome. Our only complaints are the check-in and parking. Parking down there is crazy, but if you arrive by 10am you can pay for parking directly in front of the rental for a "great price" of $25 a day. We paid for it for the convenience. We were able to park one small vehicle in front of the garage. Our check-in was 4pm, but it was a little crazy since the last renters left it a mess and other issues, but no biggie. I also think if you are going to have a place for 16 ppl you should supply towels, sheets and blankets for futons it makes it easier for families to travel. Susan did supply us with extra, but they didn't originally come with the rental. The only other things I think could be improved, but not a deal breaker was the place needed some games and additional fans in each room. It was extremely HOT at night. Overall I give the stay a 4/5 just based on hospitality and location.

We stayed here for a week on a family vacation. Fit 14 of us just fine. Beautiful view from the deck. We loved having the beach right in front of the house. Short walk to Balboa Pier. Lots of shops very close. We saw dolphins almost everyday we were there and a seal hanging around the pier by Ruby's Diner which was just out the front door. I would definitely stay here again. Susan was great working with our arrival time.

My family had an excellent few days over Christmas at this large, clean and well equipped house. Wonderful ocean view! Plenty of space for a large family gathering! Very comfortable balcony with great view! Many restaurants within walking distance. Everything was easy, from booking to check in to check out. A special thank you to Susan who was wonderfully flexible with our check in. Ferry to Balboa Island is just steps away, boardwalk for walks or bike rides (or people watching) right in front. A special surprise was a beautiful fireworks show off the pier we enjoyed right from our balcony. Perfect beach house for a great beach vacation!

The house is in a great location and is perfect for a large group. It is an upstairs unit so you have a great view from the balcony. Overall it is a good rental. Things to consider....for a house that sleeps so many they only give you four towels total; there is a washer dryer downstairs but it is coin operated; closets were large but had only a few hangers; there are no beach chairs or beach toys at the property; the rental needs some tlc. Cool factor is that there are fire rings on the beach nearby to have campfires you just need to get some wood.

I just spent a week at the house at 510 Oceanfront for the second year in a row. Every year, two of us travel to the SoCal area on business. We have stayed in 4 different beach houses in Newport until we discovered this one last year. We will continue to return every year to this same house!The house served as our office and a retreat for the entire week. We were gone during the day working but enjoyed coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on the deck. The view of the sunset is off the chart! The house is everything the pictures show with no hidden surprises. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable to sleep in. The house is very roomy, clean and the location is fantastic! It is literally on the sand, just steps from the water! There's 1 parking spot behind the house. Plus, since the house is located in the heart of Balboa Village, there is a huge parking lot right in front, and is free after 6:00. This was very helpful since we had multiple cars. The house keeper, Susan is very helpful and accommodating to any needs that we had. Shauntelle was very patient with my planning, as it took almost a month to determine my travel dates. I called her at the beginning of my planning stage in order to check availability, ahe continued to stay in touch and keep me updated on the vacancy of the house. Our business trip to SoCal is a lot of work, but the enjoyment of the house makes the tip totally worth while. We will definitely to book again next year.Thanks
