Tongue and groove ceilings, Bruce oak hardwood floors, and large windows are just a few highlights of the interior design. One of the best swimming holes, Water Wheel Falls, is found a short distance away on the East Verde River, with the trailhead starting just 3 miles up the road. You'll truly feel the secluded at the property, with neighbors found to only one side.
Hiking is available right on the property, but for more trails and scenic views, head to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park or locate the Arizona Trail, both located less than 30 miles away. The property is also within a 10 minute drive to Water Wheel hike! The anglers of the group will find their fair share of fun at Green Valley Park. Even fish for Rainbow Trout at Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout, just 25 miles away!
Sedona, with beautiful Red Rock State Park, and Flagstaff, featuring Arizona Snowbowl, are an easy day trip from the property! Phoenix lies even closer with plenty of metropolitan luxuries, but a few of its own beautiful outdoor destinations like the Salt River.

absolutely wonderful property. Very clean, modern, huge yard with a tree playhouse for the kids. we had a wonderful time. Reasonably priced as well.

We booked this with our teen/college age kids over New Year’s. It’s a beautiful location with amazing views as we approached the house. In the listing way down to the bottom it states there are no TV’s to promote family bonding and I missed that. We have 2 football players in our family and big sports fans. We walked in and turned around and left. NYE and Day our bonding is food, card games and football bowl games. The House was clean but not as updated as pictures look. Bunk beds also can only hold children 100 lbs or less which doesn’t fit our family. We didn’t get any of our $ back but it was a big miss on our part as well. Good place to stay in the summer with small children who can play outside, take naps and watch movies on their iPads.
