Lo único que nos faltó fue un aire acondicionado en la habitación principal.

Location is good, about 500m from Ventas metro. Apartment was very clean, had a good kitchen and bathroom (apart from shower situation) and wifi was fast.

This apartment is located in a private residential block, which is not made clear in the listing. We would not have booked it if we had known this, but in parts of the listing it is described as a hotel. We arrived later than we had originally advised the host, due to a delayed flight, but we had contacted them from the airport to update our ETA. We arrived at the apartment block at about 6:30pm and we called the host on the number given. I spoke with a man who spoke English and he was upset that we had not arrived as originally advised (between 5 to 6pm) and he wanted to know when we would now be arriving as he said they had been waiting all day for us, and it took me a few goes before he listened to what I was saying, which was that we were outside the building. He then said he would send someone to let us in. A girl arrived, she didn't speak English, but let us in and took the security deposit in a very perfunctory manner. We had never been in a residential apartment in Spain before and we could have done with an explanation about how to open the front door locks for both the apartment and the access door to the block as we struggled terribly with both sets of doors. In the end we had to resort to asking the next door neighbour to open the apartment door for us on numerous occasions. My travelling companion spent 45 minutes trying to open the apartment door on one occasion. Very stressful and frustrating. The other big down side for us was the shower, which is a hand shower (with nowhere to hang it to stand under it). Not ideal for hair washing etc.
