About this house rental
MountainVues & pool is a stylish renovated traditional Queenslander offering modern comforts and convenience of location. Classic high ceilings, cool & breezy, air-conditioned bedrooms, internal bedroom walls have been insulated - (important to know for a peaceful sleep) as most wooden Queenslanders have thin walls that you can hear all noise from other rooms!! open plan living - live like a local. Off road FREE car parking - within 30 min walk to Esplanade. Amazing deck to relax on whilst overlooking the pool, lit up at night time too. Enjoy a BBQ and outside dining.
MountainVues maintains a tropical feel with an open living space, high ceilings, casement windows and polished floor boards and rugs throughout. The living area opens out to a huge back terrace with Mountain views at sunset and out the front adjoining the master room is a sunroom with windows that open up the room to let the outside - in. The apartment sleeps up to 6 adults in air-conditioned comfort using existing bedding master room 1 king - room 2 king bed can be split into 2 - room 3 queen bed

Linen bath, pool towels and hair dryer supplied. Shampoo/Cond and Body wash
MountainVues is fully fenced with maintained tropical garden & resort style pool which is shared with TropicVues (holiday leased downstairs)
Please ask about holiday lease for entire house - (sleeps up to 12) price on request.
Guest access is via front stairs to the top apartment. Guests have sole use of the upstairs apartment and undercover outdoor deck area.
Friendly owner lives close by and in most cases will provide meet and greet service and mobile number to be on hand for assistance and advice if needed during your stay. Can extend assistance in booking sightseeing trips for guests.Self Checkin is an option via smart lock system

Parramatta Park is the closest suburb to Cairns City - within easy walking distance to the Esplanade, which is a scenic promenade that stretches for 2.5km and includes a swimming lagoon, waterfront boardwalks, BBQ areas and a children's water park. The Southern end of the 'Espy' comprises of cafes and restaurant's, clubs and bars, shopping plazas, entertainment centre, casino and reef terminal.
MountainVues is located 5.8kms - 10 mins drive from Cairns International Airport and 1.5kms - 30 mins walk to Cairns Esplanade
Cairns Central Shopping Centre is 1.4kms - 15 mins walk this is for grocery shopping (Coles supermarket) but convenience, liquor store and great Thai takeaway are closer.
Bus service to city and Northern Beaches is an easy 10 min walk to Sheridan Street.
MountainVues is centrally located to all tourist attractions in City Centre, Reef terminal, Tropical Tafe and Cairns Hospital.
Nightly taxi fare approx $15 to/from city centre
Uber or Taxi is best travel option to/from Airport

We absolutely loved the accomodation, everything is very clean, spacious, and you have a lot of options to sit together, either on the big dining table, the comfy couch or outside on the balcony. We had a nice barbecue. The kitchen has everything you need including herbs. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy. Good location. Would definitely recommend it.

Dee's place is a lovely oasis in a great location - very quiet neighbourhood yet only a short walk from the city centre. The apartment is beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, and Dee was very welcoming and had thought of absolutely everything that we might need. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Dee!

This residence was a great place to stay. A short stroll to the city centre and all it has to offer. Comfy beds, useable and sizeable kitchen.
The back deck was my favourite place to relax.
