It's like taking a step back in time. At the foot of the historic Ironton Ferry and only seven miles from Boyne City, the location is perfect. Crossing the Ironton Ferry, downtown Charlevoix is 5 miles away, and only 3 miles from Northern Michigans premiere wedding destination venue, Castle Farms. Across the narrows from your beach is the Landings Restaurant, Lake Charlevoix's premier lakefront dining. Enjoy a casual round of golf at Ye Nyne Olde Holes Golf Club just down the road. Perfect location for winter vacationers as well, with Boyne Mountain Ski Resort only a 15 minute drive. The property also conducive for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobilers, with access to the lake as well as the great big front and back yard the farm house for your own recreational use. Eight people (including kids 5, 3 and 4 mths) found that this home had something for everyone. The beach, the ferry, a restaurant/bar and outdoor spaces kept us busy. When it was cold and rainy we took advantage of the game table and listened to records. It was important to us that there was open floor space to roll around so we had plenty of room to play

Our host Nate really went the extra mile, and provided firewood and a ready made fire down at the beach for us. We forgot to bring a bluetooth speaker, and he hustled over 2 of them for us to use right away! The property is charming and well appointed with extra’s that made our stay wonderful ( Bottled water, paper towels, good supply of cooking pots and utensils. Communications were always answered in a timely manner from Nate. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway Up North or for a family event like a Wedding. We will be back for sure!

Winter renting was very beautiful and quiet. Great location to many activities. Nate was a great host. The house had everything we needed.

We stayed in East Jordon for a Boyne ski trip. Property was located I close to both hills. The managers/owner was very good and made sure we had anything we needed. I will use their place again.
