Canal view apartment

This place is beautiful and good value for money. We really enjoyed the beautiful canal view every morning waking up and seeing the boats pass by. I expected it to be smaller but was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than expected. It gave a homey vibe being there. Even the sofabed slept like a dream. We loved that we were able also to use the washing machine. And with the Venice heat during the summer the aircon was a huge life saver. We had checking in & out a little trouble retrieving the keys but the host was very responsive. So all by all we had a pleasant stay and would be back for sure!

From the nearest by vaporetti station was a little bit of a longer walk especially with big luggages on the cobblestone. Futhermore at night the walk gets longer as the vaporetti stop closer by the place stops running at around 23:30. The property is more on the outskirts of the city but also easily walkable 20 minutes to the hot spot city center. Only real downside is that the area around gets very dark at night and wouldn’t really feel safe being alone there as a women, and the shower cabin is on the smaller side for a bigger size person. The garbage disposal hunt was also little bit of a pain as the morning we were leaving i was unable to find where to drop off my trash as the site we used to see where the floating dumbsters were was not accurate.

Located by a canal. Well equipped.

Modest, could use some upgrades. The hot water will last 10 minutes and then you must wait over an hour for more. The bed is as hard as the floor but I was so tired that I didn't mind. The blow-dryer shuts off after 10 minutes. After I had already left, the host messaged me that I was supposed to leave the city tax in cash on the table. I was not made aware of that. She then requested a bank transfer with the money. I had already paid in full with booking.com so I was pretty confused.

Very nice view on the canal, we had everything we need, clean apartment and very nice location, walking distance from all the nice activities and main sights.

nothing comes to mind
