My sisters and I thought the house was just perfect. The kitchen and bathrooms seemed like brand new. We sat outside every morning and evening and the view at sunset is gorgeous. We hated to leave and hope that we can return someday. Joan was gracious and helpful, especially after we left a coat behind and she kindly agreed to mail it to us.

This was our second time staying here. The location is perfect. Close to the main road but far enough away that the only noise is the birds chirping. A wonderful view from the backyard. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Joan was very responsive and if you're looking for a place to stay in Sedona this is certainly a first choice.

After saving for my wife’s 50th trip to Sedona, I had the nerve racking “place” hunt to tackle. My wife is extremely picky and I wanted to make sure I didn’t let her down. We both love Sedona but sometimes the place you stay makes it even better. Well let’s say when we pulled on the road to the property we were blown away by the amazing site in front of us. And then we came to the house.wgen I shifted the gear into park and looked over at my wife with the most warm and loving smile. I know I did my homework well! And Joan the owner did her homework with this property. It was so much more than we could have imagined. So well equipped.stunning view from multiple outdoor patios,and a feeling like you are home.Joan was ezbreezy to work with.also and was most hospitable. Now the question how is my wife going to top this for my 50th?😎

Our stay was fantastic! The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location that feels a world away while only being a short walk/drive to coffee, restaurants, hikes, etc. There are so many birds visiting the yard, we saw cardinals, quail, house finch, spotted towee, coopers hawk, gold finch, and more just hanging around in the back yard! The house was clean and comfortable, and it was the most well equipped rental home we've ever stayed in. The host is friendly and access was smooth and easy. We're hoping to return some day!

We had a great stay here with our family of four. It was beautiful, quiet, clean, well stocked. Our kids loved the games and toys and loved finding pine cones in the backyard while we gazed up at the mountain. It had all the comforts of home and more. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect! Close to everything but out of the hustle and bustle so it was quiet at night.

We just returned from a three week stay at Sedona Thunder Mountain Retreat. It met our needs in every way. Often when we stay at a rental property I have a long list of "if only they had..." That was not the case here! House was super clean and close to everything. We hope to come back in the future.

Stayed here for a reunion trip with roommates from my college days. The house was perfect - from high quality applicances, cookware etc. to lots of beautiful art on the walls. Location in West Sedona is a few miles away from the busy Uptown section, but right near Layla's Bakery. Lovely view from the patio in the back. Joan is a very helpful and responsive host. I highly recommend this property!

This property is in an excellent location, very quiet and peaceful. It is fully equipped to a very high standard, complete with a double garage for our rental car. The view from the back yard is spectacular. We truly felt like guests in someone's home.

It has everything you need, a two car garage, a fabulous yard with patio. Big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and front room. Everything you will need is in this home.

Do not hesitate to rent this property. It is absolutely Beautiful ,comfortable and very well stocked. The backyard is paradise with the views of the red rock and the proximity to hiking. We enjoyed Chimney Rock and the various trails there so much. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, downtown Sedona ..but yet very quiet! We saw all kinds of wildlife in the backyard and we just really enjoyed this place so much.

Home as advertised. Actually, it was better. Everything you need for your stay plus quiet end of street privacy. Lots of wildlife rewards sitting on one of the patios. We had a family group of Javelina (8 adults and 6 babies) parade by as a farewell salute.

We absolutely loved this home and the views from it. It sits right in Red Rock Sedona and views are Amazing from the back porch and yard. The home was extremely nice. Our experience could not have been better with the home. If your looking to book, choose this home. Every thing you needed in this home was there. Extremely clean. Easy to get to but yet secluded. It was a quiet area. We just sat and looked at the view and were amazed by it. The owner was fabulous when we corresponded. It even had a double garage so you could put your car or car rental in the garage. Every appliance we needed was there and so many we did not use. Washer dryer was nice to have. Big walk in shower. The Beds were comfortable, Just great.

We rented a property from Joan in Sedona . The location was great and the house was great. We enjoyed the ease of getting to town and back as well as the private location of the property. We only needed the master bedroom and the en suite bath was nice. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed our meals in. Joan was a great communicator and we look forward to returning next year.

The house was beautiful (and very spacious) and the view was spectacular. What a perfect location. We could walk to the chimney rock trailhead and many shops and restaurants. The house is nestled away at the end of a cul de sac so no traffic noise. We actually saw coyotes one morning along the fence line.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the bathrooms had all been updated and the beds were comfy. The location was excellent. We walked up to the Thunder Mountain Trailhead to hike and the guys rode their mountain bikes. It had great views from the backyard and we would have enjoyed the two patios if the weather would have cooperated. (a storm rolled in during our stay). We hope to return next year!

We absolutely loved staying at this home for the week that we were in Sedona! The house had everything you need, and the location was great! Our girls loved the “real fireplace” and backyard area to play in. The house is just a few minute drive to several different trailheads for hiking and mountain biking! Joan, was easy to contact and very accommodating when a storm hit and we had to stay an extra night. We would love to stay again in the future!!

Photos don't do full justice to this beautiful, comfortable home. Every room is sunny and well furnished. We enjoyed morning coffee in the backyard with its classic Sedona scenery; even though the house is in the city, it is situated in a way that it seemed very private. Hiking each day was especially convenient because the house in West Sedona is a short drive from great hiking trails -- no need to fight your way through the uptown traffic. We found good restaurants nearby -- Thai, Mexican and "cowboy" -- but we also cooked evening meals which was a pleasure because the kitchen is so well equipped with new appliances and everything else that we needed. Wifi was fast, and the TV came with a Roku box, so we could stream our favorite programs. We definitely would try to get this house again on a return trip to Sedona.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Great location close to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The house was very clean and roomy with plenty of space to relax, both inside and outside. The house was also well appointed with plenty of linens and a nice variety of kitchen items for those times when you want to stay in and cook. I would definitely recommend this property!
