We were so excited to finally arrive at Hamilton Island after a 24 hour delay, and check into our luxury apartment. The valet was awesome meeting us at the airport. On first appearances the apartment was just what we wanted. The views are incredible. However, it soon became apparent that it really wasn't up to expectations.
The floors were very dirty, despite clean sheets on the bed, the bed linen doonas and covers were not washed with what looked like vomit smeared across. The mattress in the pull out bed was disgusting. Filthy & Covered in bad stains, covered in crumbs and bugs and ants. We had to vacuum. The pots and pans were dirty as was the BBQ.
The shower door wouldn't open and shut properly, coming off the tracks each time. Which for a glass door is a hazard.
The manager did arrange for the floor to be cleaned and a mattress cover which was great. But it really took the shine off for us and we wouldn't recommend Oasis 20. Some of the other apartments in the complex might be better 🤔
