Just two hours North of NYC, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, lies this beautifully renovated 1800’s farm house nestled into 52 beautiful acres of rolling meadows and hardwood forest. Take your family and friends away this season for a wonderful and affordable vacation getaway. Experience breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, a fresh water pond and leave this peaceful place with lifelong memories and a recharged spirit. Common tourist attractions include such places as Hunter and Windham Mountains, Saratoga Racetrack, Woodstock, The State Capital in Albany, Howe Caverns and the Hudson Antique Shops just to name a few.
This beautiful place was originally a small dairy farm and I have personally performed all the renovations to include all the comforts of modern living while maintaining its original 1800's charm. It boasts original wide plank flooring, hand-hewn beams, vaulted ceilings and old world craftsmanship.
There are 52 magnificent acres to hike on, dozens of fruit trees that attract abundant wildlife, a fresh water spring fed pond on the property that can be viewed from the house and outside deck and many picturesque views of the Catskill Mountains from various locations from within the house and property.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay in this rustic farmhouse. It's loaded with character, displaying relics of days gone by and original features of the house. Everything was clean and tidy with a well stocked kitchen and multiple areas inside and out to enjoy each other's company or get away for a quiet moment. It's a working farm, and our host cut paths in the hay fields for us to wander. The firepit behind the house gives a wonderful view of the surrounding fields and a chance to see deer in the early mornings and evenings...we did! Our host was marvelous at communicating and ensured that we were happy and comfortable, especially during a power outage in the area. The surrounding area is full of things to do and see, whether you stay fairly local or want to venture further afield.

The house and property were beautiful!! Very secluded and private. Had all the amenities you could ask for and the most beautiful views from the higher elevation spots on the property. Extremely well-kept house and plenty of beds. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and get away from things.

My husband and our 2 kids (4 and 6) stayed at this beautiful gentleman’s farm in west coxsackie. We were looking to get away and this place delivered. The house is an old farmhouse with all of the charm and some modern upgrades for comfort.The kids loved roasting marshmallows on the hill and their zoom school “brain break” was watching the hawks soar above with their prey or run down to the pond. Internet is strong, sunrise exceptional, and star gazing wonderful.Pack all that you need because you may not want to leave once you get here!
