In the fourth floor of this wonderful compound by the sea, where life comes to a standstill and waits patiently near shopping malls, restaurants, and miles of White sanded beaches, luxury finds new horizons and peace becomes the norm.
The Space:
From the granite stone that covers the countertops of the fully equipped kitchen, interrupted only by the chromed appliances that scatter through the smooth surface, and to the white seats of the bar stools that lay by the breakfast bar paradise begins to unfold in front of your eyes. The diner, made from a solid wooden block and the wonderful décor that surrounds the area, sits by an arch in the ceiling that leads the otherwise uninterrupted way into the living room and the deck beyond.
Inside the lounge like area that is the living room; large white cushions mix with a dark skinned recliner and surround a wicker coffee table topped with glass. From the High Definition TV set, wired with Apple TV and satellite service, to the very comfort of the lounge, it’s very easy to understand the comfort of staying inside. On the side, a small bar with a wine cooler and marble countertop basks in its very own comfort.
Of course, a fully equipped laundry room is available for your stay.
In the guest bedroom, two queen sized beds wait in matching attire with large, dark skin covered headrests providing comfort in their cushioned frames. The high definition TV set in the room adds a touch of modernity, as the surfing board and skim surf board reflect on the many activities that lay within the beach and ocean. The guest bathroom, covered in marble and glass, simply perfects the commodities in the room.
From the deck, facing the ocean and the green areas of the complex opens a new paradigm of beauty. Wicker lounges and a small, outer diner mix with lounge chairs and a spectacular view of the sea as it merges into the horizon with the soft color of the blue sky.
At last, in the master bedroom, white pervades the area, exempting the headrest for the king sized bed and the fitment that supports the high definition TV set and the painting that hangs next to it. A soft, cushioned lounge chair wait by the sliding glass door, close to the deck and the overlooking the sea. The condo is beautiful as pictured in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped. Living spaces are comfortable. Easy walking distance to grocery store. Multiple pool areas to enjoy and easy access to the beach. Check in was not as expected when we got to the gate. They told us to go to the condo and someone would meet us. The VRBO site told us to go to the office and we would be given the access info. So mixed communication there. We had to wait for security to come and let us in. A map of the condo area would have been helpful for accessing amenities such as the gym and other areas within the complex. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Proximity to San Jose was a bonus. Amazing little restaurants only a 7 min drive.

We have stayed at Las Mananitas many times over the last 15 years. The property is well maintained and in a great location with access to great restaurant options, grocery store and beach.
The particular unit had an issue with the dishwasher. It wasn’t working for the duration of our stay (11 days). We contacted the property manager and only heard from them after our second email 2 days later. They stated that yes they knew the dishwasher was broken and were waiting on a part. Therefore we had to do dishes the whole time. Not the end of the world however this should have been communicated when we arrived and a credit of some sort should have been applied. I asked for this from the property agency and heard no response. Additionally the hot tub outside our building was broken so we were not able to use it for the duration of our stay. There was another hot tub in the building next door but still a bit of an inconvenience.
