About this house rental
Look no further in planning a large get-together, such as a family reunion, so everyone can stay in one place. This home is in The Currituck Club and is waiting for you! From the top floor you will enjoy sweeping views of both the ocean and the Currituck Sound. [Note: No dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

TOP LEVEL:
A large Great Room has plenty of room for sitting and watching TV. The dining area (seats 24) and bar counter (seats 5) of the galley-style kitchen with granite counters. The hallway has a large pantry closet and there's also a half bath. An elevator connects all levels of this home. There are 3 King Master Suites on this level. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]
MID LEVEL:
On the mid-level, there are 5 King Master Suites, most with deck access, and a King bedroom that has a shared bath with an adjoining bedroom that has a Pyramid Bunk Set.
GROUND LEVEL:
A King bedroom is next to a full hall bath which has a shower that is handicap-friendly. Down the hall is a bonus room with an armoire (not a built-in closet) which has 2 Pyramid Bunk Sets for kids. The Theater Room seats 8 but there's plenty of floor space for young children to sit and watch their favorite movies; everyone will enjoy the state-of-the-art sound system. A second kitchen has a range/oven and a lounge area with large flat-screen TV. On the pool deck, a private saltwater pool which measures 15' x 19' (open May to mid-October; pool heat is available for an additional fee), has an outdoor bar and open-sided cabana. A separate hot tub is available for the adults to enjoy. There is a 2-car garage and outside parking for 4-5 vehicles.

As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Overall it was a good fit for our group of 19 adults and 2 kids. Spacious living area on each floor. Kitchen was a little tight for a large group if you plan to cook but ample refrigerator space and doable. Theatre room was a big hit for our multi-generational group. The Currituck Club amenities such as activities, the trolley to the beach were super. The beach valet…WOW…great perk. Opportunity for the property to be better. Cleanliness could be improved but not a deal breaker for us, we were prepared. Kitchen counters were not wiped down, refrigerator smelled bad upon arrival, bought baking soda and moved on. For the price, a roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom seemed reasonable but none upon arrival - completely stripped. The photos showed table umbrellas in the pool area, there wasn’t any, shade was a challenge. The large dining table on the upper balcony was broken upon arrival (no legs) so we weren’t able to enjoy that deck off the 3rd floor living area.

Couldnt use hottub-maggots in grill-some windows dirty so we really did not have a clear view of the scenery

More of a problem was check out time. We verified twice ahead of time and again when we got there that we could leave perishable items at the house and pick up when round of golf over. When I got to house at 1:30 all items gone and house cleaned. Know we left a cooler trash bangs. Ice cream butter etc. not enough $ to worry about but aggravating
