About this campground/ rv resort rental
Cozy 2 Bedroom, 1 bath, screened porch.
We have always been committed to delivering the cleanest vacation home to our guests. If you read our reviews we are very proud of the many comments about how clean we keep our properties. Since the outbreak of COVID we want to assure our guest that the properties are as clean as possible. While we have not had make major changes our cleaning procedures we thought we would detail some of what we do between guests.
All bed liens are changed between guests, our quilts are put in duvet covers to provide an additional level of cleanness and are also washed between guests. Everything including towels are washed in hot water. Dishes and utensils are washed in the dishwasher with hot water and a heated drying cycle. The unit has memory foam pillows since they hypo-allergenic and the cellular nature of the foam is inhospitable to bugs, mold and fungus. There is no carpet in the home and floors are vacuumed and moped, surfaces are wiped down.
The Cottage offers all the comforts of home and benefits of a vacation resort life style. The home sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a trundle bed in the second bedroom. While located on an interior lot the home has a screened in porch that overlooks a green space and is close to bathhouse number 2.
Please note that we ask guests who stay a month or more to reimburse us for the electricity bill during their stay.

Wrist bands (4) for access to Activities Centre and sports equipment
Bath houses throughout the island (for extra showers and toilet facilities)
Fishing (Intracoastal Waterway or Beach) with use of fish cleaning station
All you need to bring is your toothbrush, bathing suits and flip flops.
We only allow dogs, sorry no cats owner is highly allergic, The Condo Association does have pet rules we are required to follow. All renters and owners are required to register all animals that will be staying, more
than one (1) night, in their unit with the Condominium Office. All animals must have a current immunization certificate, including rabies and the animal’s breed, on file with the Condominium Office. A tag for the animal tag for all animals must be purchased the Condominium Office for a $10.00 fee. No Unit or Lot may maintain more than two (2) animals. Animals must be kept under control at all times and must not create a nuisance or cause injury or damage.
The following pure and mixed dog breeds are not permitted on Nettles Island property: Bull Terrier, Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, Akita, or any animal of mean or violent temperament
Nettles Island is a gated resort community with 24/7 manned security that has a private beach with a large heated pool, restrooms, showers and snack bar. Off the beach is a another club house that has large heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, game room with pool table and ping pong, miniature golf, basketball, racquetball/handball tennis courts, shuffle board, horse shoes and snack bar. The island also has a boat launching ramp and a dog walking area that has beautiful water views.
Also located on Nettles Island are a marina, grocery store, hair salon and restaurant.
Nettles Island is located in Jensen Beach Florida in area known as the Treasure Coast. Nearby attractions include The Elliott Museum, Florida Oceanographic Society, House of Refuge, and Sailfish Splash Water Park. Historic downtowns of Jensen Beach and Stuart provide many additional off island dining and entertainment options. Public airports are West Palm (45mins) and Fort Lauderdale (1.5hours) Miami (2hours) and Orlando (2 hours).
Located in West Palm is the Rapids Water Park and Lion Country Safari. In addition within a two hour drive you can enjoy the theme parks of Orlando, Kennedy Space center and all that Miami has to offer.

Great stay, David was a responsive and kind host. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, had a blast taking the golf cart around this fun and friendly community. We saw a parade, attended their church service, soaked in the hot tub, and played golf, billiards, and shuffleboard. A fun and relaxing trip.

Week away from the cold for sun, warmth, relaxation, and this rental was ideal for all of it.It was the perfect size for my husband and I, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. As described, everything was very clean, and the hotel like supplies in the bathroom, kitchen supplies, and laundry supplies were appreciated. Communication with the owner was excellent, check in was a breeze, and the book on the counter with all of the information needed for our stay was great.We actually forgot a couple of sweatshirts, and David was kind enough to send them back to us via UPS.Would definitely stay here again if available when we travel to the area, and would recommend to others.

First of all I want to say that David was an excellent host. Somethings were not right when I got there and he corrected them right away. When I walked in the place smelled wonderful but realized as I am packed that it was just surface cleaned there was not a deep cleaning. There were no chairs or were not told to bring chairs to sit up at the veterans circle so I went out and bought one. The bathroom is very very small this is not a home like it says it’s more like a trailer/cottage. The worst part of the whole place was the musty/mold smell that I smelled every morning once the air fresheners were done. I woke up every morning stuffed up and coughing it was horrible. The grill was disgustingly gross so I purchased some insides so at least I could grill. The best part of the unit is the lanai in thee we back. Because of the smell that’s where I spent most of my time when I was home. I am going back to Nettles next year but I have rented a different unit.
