Experience the charm of New England this summer, in a beautiful home away from the crowds, and just a few minutes to Narragansett's favorite beaches! A private river beach with kayak and canoe launch can be found at the end of the road.
Narragansett is a beautiful town that has something for everyone. With many beaches to choose from--Scarborough Beach, Narragansett Town Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach, and Salty Brine State Beach are all a short drive away. Narragansett is close to the Block Island Ferry, which makes for a lovely day trip. Grab lobsters off the boat in Galilee! Also close are Providence, Newport, Westerly/Watch Hill, Mohegan Sun Casino, and Foxwoods Casino.
This home features four over-sized bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a large and comfortable living room and a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops! In additional, you will find both upstairs and downstairs finished with gleaming hardwood floors and comfortable furniture. Plus, the best feature of all, AC throughout!
Out back, there is a generous and private yard with a deck off the kitchen. On the deck, you'll find outdoor furniture and a grill for outdoor relaxation. All comforts give promise for a memorable vacation.
When vacationing in this Mettatuxet home you will have easy access to the Narrow River, Narragansett Town beach along with Scarborough and Roger Wheeler Beach, a short drive away. This rental is only a quick ride to the Block Island Ferry, Great Island, and the authentic fishing village - Port of Galilee.
The bedroom layout is as follows:
Second floor (all four bedrooms located on this level)
Bedroom 1: King size bed
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed
Bedroom 3: Full size bed
Bedroom 4: Queen size bed + pull out sofa
Bed sheets, bath towel sets, hand towels, kitchen towels, and bathmats will be delivered to your rental's doorstep in a large linen bag. Each item is individually packaged in plastic to ensure you receive a fresh set for your stay. As the guest, you are responsible for making the beds. This is an intentional part of our process to provide reassurance around the cleanliness and handling of your linens.
For your convenience, starter supplies are also provided. These include, at minimum: one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, shampoo and conditioner sets, one dishwasher pod, one laundry pod, three trash bags, a new sponge, and small bars of hand soap in each bathroom. We kindly ask that you plan to bring any additional supplies needed beyond these starter items.

We had a wonderful stay in Narragansett! The house was perfect for our family and two dogs. It was clean, there was plenty of space, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. The yard is great as is the back deck, and the location is close to beaches, shopping, ice cream and more. We would highly recommend!

Property was as described. Very clean. Check in was easy. Tv in bedroom did not have cable connected. Could not figure out how to use a/c in living room. Remote for it wasn’t working. Nice yard and spacious for family. My dog loved the deck! Will come back.

The location of this house is great, a 20 minute walk to the Bonnet Shores beach, and a 5 minute walk to a river beach. This made it a great place to stay with kids.
The house could have used a bit of maintenance, but they seem to be on it. Similarly, we could hear some mice, but they seemed to find their way to the traps. The place needed to be cleaned when we arrived; there was a lot of hair and dust around, but the property managers sent someone out right away.
The listing isn't exactly accurate regarding linens being provided. Yes, they are provided, but it is via a 3rd party service which drops them off on the porch. So, we needed to make the beds on arrival, which was a bit of a chore at 10pm with children. Also, we did not have all the sheet sets we needed for the beds and had to call and get them delivered late at night.
