Family Tides, an estate beachside home in Pointe West, offers three expansive balconies to enjoy views in every direction; The Gulf & The Bay! (great for bird watching).

Constructed in 2016, Family Tides offers luxury at its finest with high ceilings, tri-ceilings in almost every bedroom, and marble countertops throughout! Open-concept living makes this large home feel open and inviting - great for relaxing and catching up with loved ones.
This kitchen is grand; with custom cabinets, under-cabinet lighting, lots of windows to let the sunshine in, a huge pantry, high-end appliances (including a wine frig), and a large dining room table (enough seats for your whole family).
The house features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps 10. The Master suite bathroom offers a soaking tub and a large separate shower.

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds.

Must be 25 years or older to reserve & must stay at home. Rental agreement with mailing address, names and ages of everyone staying, govt. issued ID, selfie, & vehicle information required, no access even if paid in full.
No events, prom, graduation, or parties of any sort with prior written approval. Additional fees may apply.
No access is granted without a rental agreement being signed by the guest and approved by Coastal Waves Vacations LLC - even if paid in full. We require your mailing address, names and ages of all individuals staying at the home, vehicle information, and full pet information for pet-friendly homes.
Most single-family homes on the beach are built on pilings. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach the first floor/main living area.
Pointe West Beach Club:
Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, children's pool, lazy river, closed until 1/15/2023 center, gift shop, and restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (3 years or older) The use of the Beach Club is optional and not required to stay in the home. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.
The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

Family Tides was beautiful! It reminded us of the times we stay at 30A! It was very well maintained, clean, and nicely decorated. We will be back for sure! Even though it was not on the beach, it was very close/walking distance with small kids! We enjoyed all of the porches along with the water feature/pond and large green space in the back. We also loved the beach club! Ate there every night because any grocery store is 30 min away! Great food though! One small hiccup: we experienced some stormy weather and the “hurricane doors” would literally fly open from the wind. A little scary. We put chairs in front of them so they wouldn’t randomly take out one of the babies

Property is in excellent condition and just as advertised. The management company is very responsive and did a great job explaining the process. Kitchen is well setup for visitors and the bathrooms were in great working order. Outdoor spaces are amazing and relaxing. Took advantage of the beach club, was a great addition to the beach. Would definitely rent this house again!

This house is well appointed for hosting families. There is a large dining table that seats 12. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook and serve a family meal. There are multiple porches with adequate seating, so you never have to sit in direct sun. Beach access is two houses away.

The house was nice. Kitchen was large and ample room for many cooks in the kitchen. Noticed ants in kitchen and 2nd floor bedroom and contacted property manager. Was told maintenance would come but never did. Inquired twice about this. Bought Raid and sprayed the areas but ants still a nuisance.
Laundry pods placed in kitchen with dishwasher pods. Ran the dishwasher since no label and water/suds throughout part of kitchen. Both situations were not ideal, but we still had a nice vacation. Kinda peeved that the ants were never addressed.
