    We booked the market street hotel based on reviews we had read tge hotel is extremely handy for Waverley station in Edinburgh 3 mins away handy for Cockburn street where we had breakfast and the royal Mile at the top of Cockburn street

    Very convenient in central location literally across the road from Waverley station. Good quality well appointed rooms genuinely four star with design touches. Make sure you make time for a drink or at least a coffee in the roof top bar...very easy as they offer a complimentary glass of champagne! Some may not like the lack of full restaurant choices - there are small plates on offer in the roof top bar.But for us not an issue as we rarely use hotel restaurants in cities where there are such a range of wonderful dining on offer.

    The room given was located in the corner with no view but next to a bar. It was very noisy at night.
