Visit the North Shore of Oahu and experience “Country Living” on a secluded one acre estate above Waimea Bay. Situated at the top of the Pupukea highlands, your hiking and cycling activities will be enhanced by the cool mountain air and lack of traffic. The apartment is part of a one acre parcel that includes manicured gardens and a large lawn. Fresh fruit on site is often available for a breakfast treat. There is a nearby full service grocery store serviced by a nationally known coffee company. Eateries are abundant along a 7 mile corridor called the Kamehameha Highway. In nearby historic Haleiwa Town you can find more eateries, full service restaurants, pharmacies, apparel stores, jewelers, surf shops, shave ice and local arts and crafts. We had a great stay. Loved the quiet neighborhood that was close to everything on the North Shore.

Home was spacious and decent for the most part. Location of home was up a windy dangerous road and felt quite far from the beaches and town. We were not warned about the over-flux of pecking roosters at 4-5 o’clock in the morning - so this most certainly made our mornings uncomfortable. If you decide to stay here, bring earplugs. Oh, and bring bug spray too. Lots of questionable creepy crawlers.
Communication with host was lack luster, unwelcoming and belittling. Did not feel the aloha spirit in this home or from this host. Would not book again.
