This Property has just been remodeled and is my favorite. The colors are bright, fun and very artsy The furnishings are not traditional at all and very eclectic, but functional and comfortable at the same time. And with Crystal Bridges just 7.5 miles away, the property has been decorated with fun reproductions of famous artists and colorful paintings. If you are looking for more than a "hotel room", a work of art, a home to enjoy, you will not be disappointed. The home has "Feng Shui" from the moment you walk in the door and see the forest of trees through the back windows.

We needed a place for my dad to stay during our corporate relocation to NW Arkansas. The Melanie House in Bella Vista was absolutely perfect and very budget friendly! The property itself is gorgeous, with a stunning wooden backyard that feels like your own private nature retreat. He loved watching the deer and other wildlife right out back—it made the setting so peaceful and relaxing.Inside, the home is spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well cared for, which made him feel right at home from the moment he walked in. The check-in process was seamless with a personalized code for the door, which made arrival super easy and stress-free.The owner was wonderful to work with—very responsive, helpful, accommodated a day early arrival at the last minute and was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The garage was an extra bonus he truly appreciated, especially for convenience and peace of mind.This is the perfect retreat for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful escape to enjoy the beauty of Northwest Arkansas. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

We were there for a golf tournament, and it was only a 3 minute drive to the course! The house was beautiful, well furnished, spacious, great outside seating, and even had fresh muffins waiting for us. Highly recommend!!!

This is the perfect house to stay no matter if visiting for business, sports, leisure. The house is cozy and relaxing. The bed is so comfortable you won’t want to get out of it. Lisa is the perfect hostess!!! She is so accommodating and is very punctual with any text, call, message. She is just a delight!! There are little touches throughout the house upon arrival that makes me think of a bed and breakfast. This is a place we will definitely revisit!!!

Beautifully appointed home, sparkling clean. Location is easy to find and convenient to restaurants and golf course. Homeowner was attentive and thoughtful. Weather prevented us from enjoying the delightful deck and sunroom but we did avail ourselves of the gas fireplace! Comfy, roomy, and had everything we could possibly need for our stay.

This beautifully appointed and comfortable home is everything as as advertised and more. The host's attention to detail is apparent at every turn. Without a doubt the best stocked kitchen I've ever rented with every cooking utensil and serving piece included ample even if entertaining multiple guests. Lisa was attentive to our every need upon getting settled responding rapidly always. Initially I was concerned about the distance to Bentonville where I was working but found it to be a very pleasant 17 minute drive only right into the heart of B'Ville. We will be back!

This home is very inviting and makes you feel like you belong and want to be there. The house is located in a nice and friendly neighborhood and the property is fairly secluded with a densely wooded back yard. The view of the woods from the back deck and sun room is a nice bonus. The home is well maintained and beautifully decorated. Spacious living areas and well supplied with everything you need for your stay. Cleanliness is a priority for this owner as the home was immaculately clean. You will not go wrong staying at Lisa's home.

My friend and I came down from KC to ride motorcycles. This was the perfect house for our needs. Garage for the bikes, great location, clean, plenty of kitchen stuff to cook, and very responsive and informative owners. I will save this house for future trips. I am usually in Arkansas 4-5 times per year to ride.

My octogenarian parents and I stayed at Melanie House for a few days in order to enjoy Crystal Bridges and spend time with each other after a long pandemic separation. The house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the colorful walls and paintings as well as the screened-in sun room and view of the woods out back. The kitchen was well equipped too. The host, Lisa, left thoughtful touches throughout the house including muffins in the kitchen, stationary in the bedrooms, and welcoming music playing upon our arrival. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood yet still a fairly quick drive to the old downtowns of Bentonville and Rogers as well as Crystal Bridges. I would highly recommend this house for a quiet getaway.

Everything we expected

Everything we expected

No surprises here. The home was just as lovely as we anticipated from Lisa’s very accurate pictures. If you like golfing, biking, pickle ball, playing at the playground with kids, this one’s for you. The Metfield complex containing all of the above is less than a five minute drive away. We were there in April (2021) and the pools hadn’t quite opened yet, but what we saw of them looked great. The Bella Vista / Bentonville area is truly a hidden gem. Don’t miss Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, the Lakepoint complex including a great restaurant, and the BV Bar & Grill. Great food & drink while being amazingly affordable. No excuses for being bored. But at the same time with a well equipped kitchen, nice deck with grill and a wonderful screened porch, you don’t have to leave home to have a fun & relaxing day. Can you tell we really enjoyed it? I hope so because we did!

This wound up to be the perfect getaway place! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location and a nice deck and sunroom to enjoy the wooded view. We were able to ride our bikes from the property. We were also able to take backroads to great walking or hiking trails. Being on the east side of highway 71 worked out great to avoid traffic to Bentonville. Lisa ( property owner) was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back. Fantastic week!

So glad we chose to stay in the Melanie House! Loved it! From the moment we walked in, the pleasant smell, music playing, nice lighting....I knew it would be good. Everything was meticulously clean. Everything you could possibly need was available. The owner has thought of everything. We just enjoyed our time here so much. The neighborhood is great to take a nice walk around. We hiked and visited Bentonville. Our goal was to safely enjoy time during Memorial Day and this place is the perfect spot!

My husband and I stayed at The Melanie House for what was supposed to have been 3 weeks but because of COVID-19 we left early. We wanted to be in our own home should either of us get sick which, luckily, hasn't happened at this time. From the minute we walked in the front door and heard soft jazz music playing from the television and lamps were lit, we felt right at home! A lot of other places we stayed, it would take me a day or two to warm up to them and maybe do a little cleaning, but not The Melanie House - it was perfect from the minute we arrived! We used the gas fireplace almost daily and it was so nice to have that. The screened in porch is amazing - I wish the weather would have cooperated a little more so we could have spent more time there. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and there was even a new container of half and half in the refrigerator for our coffee! And there were also fresh muffins and cookies sitting on the counter under a glass domed dish - what a nice surprise that was! The bedrooms are roomy and the bedding was so crisp and mattresses comfortable! I could go on and on about our stay but I think you get the picture! It was great meeting Lisa when she brought over extra supplies - she's so friendly and accommodating! I feel like I've made a new friend! She also worked with us as far as a partial refund due to us leaving because of the national emergency in effect. She was very helpful and generous, and wasn't required to be. The only thing I might add is that if you're not familiar with this area, make sure you have a GPS because we would have definitely been lost more than once without it! It's a beautiful area but lots of hills and winding roads! Just when I could find my way around without the GPS, it was time to leave! LOL! You won't go wrong renting this place - we absolutely loved it and I hope I can talk my husband into staying here again some time!

Lisa went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I had inquired about whether she had an outdoor grill that we could use. At the time, she didn't have one, but before we arrived, a new grill had been added to the house. The house is decorated in a fun and artistic way. When we arrived, there was music playing and muffins in the kitchen. The house is supplied with everything you need for your stay. We will definitely try to stay here again if we have another trip to this area. I highly recommend this house!

Lisa is very enjoyable, and easy to work with! The whole process of renting the Melanie house was seamless. Everything about our stay was perfect, she attended to every need, and some we didn’t think about! The house was absolutely beautiful, the pictures did not do it justice! The neighborhood was so quiet, and the setting was perfect for us “city folks” . We look forward to renting with Lisa again!!
