In a peaceful and solitary area with a pleasant climate all year, spectacularly panoramic view to the sea and mountains, excellent location to visit the most beautiful part of the Madeira Island. Private pool. The house can accommodate 8 + 4 people in extra bed. For larger groups please contact us.
A Casa do Lagar is located in Farrobo which lies in the province of São Jorge / Santana, on the north coast of Madeira Island.
Situated in a peaceful and solitary area with a pleasant climate all year round, it has a panoramic view of the sea and mountains.
The guest house has been furnished in a contemporary style whilst paying particular attention in maintaining a calm and rural feel to the place.
Its swimming pool invites the guests to a pleasant swim and to enjoy the beautiful views over the vineyards and the sea.
The most beautiful walks long the north coast of Madeira are to be found within easy reach, making it an ideal starting point to meet up with the main levada paths and tourist walks in the middle of the island: -for example, the Laurissilva a protected forest region. The beach, Praia do Calhau, with modern bathing facilities is just five minute.

Gregorio was a great host, meeting us and sharing plenty of information. The property was very clean, well equipped and in a very rural, quiet area. We appreciated the walks from the house down to the sea and up to the viewpoint. Sadly the weather was a bit cool to make the most of the pool.Thank you so much Gregorio!

The villa is absolutely huge. Extremely spacious for 8 people. Kitchen is well equipped. All bed linen and towels beautiful and clean. The place is stunning and the views are breath taking. Only downside is that its locality to shops or restaurants , particularly with young children. Also the pool is very cold...even in August.
Car is highly recommended.
The owner is fantastic. Very pleasant and can not do enough for you.
Overall, the place is stunning and the owner is excellent.

Propriétaire très souple sympathique et accordant (il nous a libéré une chambre dans une maison attenante, car la configuration est prévue pour 8 avec possibilités de lits supplémentaires dans les chambres existantes et nous étions 5 couples)
Piscine encore un peu fraîche pour début mai, mais nous en avons profité tous les soirs. Équipement interieur parfait. Il manque juste quelques verres à vins.
