About this house rental
Have a perfect vacation in our pristine two-story farmhouse style house. There are three bedrooms and two full baths. On the main floor, there is an extra large living room, a large, fully stocked eat-in kitchen, a dining room with sliding doors onto a full deck, a TV/family room, a bathroom with shower and a laundry area with a large washer and dryer. The bedrooms and a large full bath are upstairs.
The house is clean, bright and airy with large rooms, lots of windows and attractive and comfortable furnishings.
The property consists of a flat half acre of beautifully landscaped lawn containing an oversized L-shaped in-ground pool. The pool has a large shallow area with wide steps and a built-in shelf seat. The deep end has a water slide which is fun for everyone.
The house is located across the street from Peconic Bay in East Marion, at the bottom of a quiet horseshoe shaped road with very little traffic. The location is perfect – only two miles to the town of Greenport and all its restaurants, shops and attractions and a short ten minute ride to the quaint village of Orient, Orient Beach State Park and the Orient-New London Ferry.
The immediate neighborhood offers wonderful recreational activities, all easily accessible from the house. The Islands End Golf and Country Club, with driving range and beautiful golf course open to the public, is diagonally across the main road; Sep’s Farm Stand, one of the larger of the many sought after farm stands in the area, is at the top of the hill; the very popular Hellenic Restaurant is within walking distance as well.
You can enjoy a private sand beach on the bay, 500 feet from the front door, if you can bring yourself to move away from relaxing around the backyard pool.
The area is perfect for bike riding and running, with largely flat roads and little traffic. Bring your kayak and take it out from the neighborhood beach.
For adults, the house and the area are a haven of relaxation and privacy. For adults with children, there is an abundance of things to do for kids even if you decide to stay right in the neighborhood. Between hours of fun in the pool, the beach, playing in the big yard and walking to the farm stand for delicious vegetables and corn, your children’s days will be full and fun-filled.

Absolutely lovely stay! Adrienne is incredibly helpful and prompt. The house is wonderful (tons of amenities), the pool is amazing, the neighborhood is great. Short walk to a nice small sandy beach, short drive to Truman Beach (great for rock hunting) as well as to Greenport (which is picturesque and perfect for dinner out). Our family an amazing time overall and we will definitely be back!

It's rare that a rental house exceeds expectation, but this one really did! The yard was spectacular and we enjoyed the pool and the corn hole game immensely! The house was roomy and very comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked and the deck with grill was perfect. The short walk to the bay beach was an added bonus. Adrienne was a wonderful host & very kind about sending me back my ipad which I left at the house. We are New Yorkers who now live in FL and it was wonderful to have friends and family visit us there. We stayed for 2 weeks and I wished we could stay longer!

We stayed in Adrienne's home last weekend and it was absolutely lovely. There were two couples, one small dog and my six year old daughter. The house itself if spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. The yard is huge and filled with native plants and trees-- and a very well maintained in-ground pool! Relax on the chaise lounges or float around on a giant golden goose. My daughter had a blast going down the slide and jumping off rocks that act as a diving platform.
There are several areas for outdoor dining and the grill is clean and ready for use. The home was well stocked, including the kitchen. There was a Keurig machine with coffee pods which was a great surprise since we got there at 11:30pm and forgot to pick anything up for the morning. The bedrooms are all nicely sized, as are the rest of the rooms. The bed in the Master room was incredibly comfy! The other couple said the same about their room. There were three TV's and a stereo but we were outdoors more of the time so we didn't use them much. Having WiFi that's actually fast was a huge bonus! though There are also tons of interesting books and CD's to check out along with yard games and a child's bike in the shed. There's nothing that I could've thought of that wasn't there.
Greenport is a few minutes drive away but the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood so you get all of the benefits of seclusion with the ability to be in town within 5 minutes. There's also a small strip of beach about a block away where you can hunt for shells and watch the shore birds. We were lucky enough to catch the Osprey hanging out and fishing!
Adrienne is very responsive and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I will absolutely be back again and highly recommend anyone looking to stay at this home. Thanks Adrienne!
