About this house rental

Summary:

Lagoon Lodge is a 3-bedroom waterfront home in East Marion, set along a quiet lagoon with a private dock and easy access to the bay and nearby beach. Ideal for families and relaxed group stays, the home sleeps up to 4 adults and 4 children. Central air, reliable WiFi, and indoor-outdoor living make it easy to settle in. Guests enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding from the dock, with North Fork farm stands, beaches, and wineries close by.



The Space:

The primary bedroom is located on the main floor near the kitchen and living area and includes a king bed. Upstairs, there are two separate sleeping areas. One has a queen bed with water views. The second is a larger shared sleeping space with two twin beds and one full bed, best suited for children or a family group rather than multiple adults.



The home includes two full bathrooms plus an enclosed outdoor shower. Bath and beach towels and linens are provided.



The eat-in kitchen opens to a deck with outdoor dining. The yard includes a gas grill and direct lagoon access with a private dock for kayaking, paddle boarding, or relaxing by the water.



There is a Lavender farm, and various other farm stands for the group to explore in the immediate area! Consider booking a lighthouse cruise to Long Beach Bar “Bug” Lighthouse, golf at Island’s End golf course, and walk to Sep’s farm stand for local produce, kayak, or paddle boards to put in on our private beach. Don’t forget your fishing gear to fully immerse in the beach experience.



Situated between Orient and Greenport, you can arrive by the New London Ferry into Orient, by Hampton Jitney into East Marion, by the LIRR into Greenport, or by car. The North Fork has over 40 wineries within 10 miles, a State Park in Orient, and an old shipping village in Greenport (frequently written about in the New York Times) with unique shops and waterfront dining. Take a visit to Shelter Island and Sag Harbor via ferry out of Greenport.

Seasonal Availability of Outdoor Amenities

Please note that all outdoor amenities, including the patio furniture, grills, and other exterior equipment, are typically stored away between Columbus Day and Memorial Day. If you have specific questions regarding these amenities, feel free to reach out to us for more information.



If you are looking for multiple homes that are close by for additional family and/or friends please inquire! We have many other beach homes within close proximity.



Important Notice: The pedestrian bridge to the beach is temporarily closed for safety. The beach remains easily accessible via a scenic 5-minute walk. Please note there is also nearby construction expected to be completed by the end of June, and some daytime noise may be present. Thank you for your understanding!



IMPORTANT NOTES:

- The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.

- There is a standard pet fee of $200 per pet, per stay. An additional $100 may apply for dogs that shed excessively.

- For stays of 21 days or more, utility expenses, including electricity and gas/oil charges, will be calculated based on the actual duration of the guest's stay upon receipt of the utility bills from the Owner.

- For reservations of 29 nights or more, a refundable deposit will be collected prior to arrival. Our Team will reach out for further details upon booking.

Cancellation Policy

- Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive 100%.

- Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.

Please note, as a part of booking we secure insurance for your stay and will require you to sign a Guest Rental Agreement. This insurance is meant to cover any incidental damages to the property that may occur during your stay and does not cover any issues with your trip related to cancellation due to illness or other reasons. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. This wonderful vacation home has beautiful water views, easy access to a large and beautiful beach that's great for kids of all ages, and is a quick drive from both Orient and Greenport. The house is clean and well appointed. Very much would like to return again soon!

The lagoon lodge is incredibly picturesque, and the location is great, even better than the pictures. Literally 5 mins walking distance from the beach, and a short drive away from Greenport (many restaurants) and North Fork wineries. The house itself is pretty dated, from the furniture to the towels/sheets you are provided. However the property manager Debbie is extremely responsive and the kitchen is well stocked. Overall we really enjoyed our first family vacation with our infant, and our dog. Highly recommend!
