Fabulous Cabin Block away from<br>Private Beach

Cabin needed maintenance inside and out. Nasty towels ..Traffic noise was unbearable. The host answered my questions quickly...which was helpful as there where no instructions for anything for the house/ keys for the garage and private beach.Not enough paper goods...paper towels/ toilet paper. Etc. Worst VRBO I've stayed in

No hot water in shower downstairs, roaches, cable only on 1 TV

The word fabulous is misleading. The home needs LOTS of TLC. Don’t be misled by the reviews of 8 to 10. It’s more of a 3. If you don’t mind shoveling the driveway upon arrival, not having hot water in the upstairs bathroom shower, and various other things, this place would work for you.

I stayed up here for the week with my friends and the location, amenities and space of this house were all perfect. Candidly, the place didn’t seem VRBO ready as it was messy and was missing many of the things one would expect when staying for a week. No extra garbage bags, paper towels or dishwasher detergent. No soap or shampoo in the bathrooms. No vacuum charger, the broom is busted. Many of the drawers were filled with random items, curtains were broken. Even the deck had 4 shovels, just shattered across the deck, making the whole place rundown. All that said, the place was pretty cheap and slept a lot of people. I won’t be coming back, but if I was in my 20s and more money-conscious, I’d give this a go!

It was the ideal cabin for Lake Tahoe! I would note that this is not in South Lake City, but about 45 minutes north of it so just keep that in mind when booking as there is limited things to do in Tahoe City.

We enjoyed our stay. We liked the size of the home, the furnishings, and the location. We were excited to get snow the night we arrived. Loved soaking in the hot tub.

We took a group of adults and teens up to celebrate a birthday. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the park area at the lake. The park area is just a short walk and was such a cute neighborhood. We had a bear visit 2 nights in a row trying to get into the trash which was actually neat to see. Beds were comfy and couch is huge. The host is very responsive. Having 3 bathrooms was great with our large group. Safeway is just down the road for supplies

We rented this property for a relaxing girls weekend. I messaged the host 3 times the week leading up to arrival asking about an early arrival and never received a response. When we did arrive, the dishwasher was still running and we had to empty it, and the towels were still in the dryer, which we had to fold to use. Not a huge deal, but for the amount of money they are charging, annoying. That night, a bear broke into the trash box. We messaged and called the host, no response. We had to clean up 2 trash cans of trash strewn about the driveway. A neighbor stopped by and told us that this trash box gets broken into multiple times a week but has not been replaced. We had to call VRBO to try and get in touch with the host, and even when VRBO called them, there was no response. Finally we got a call back and someone was sent to fix the trash box, but they did not take the trash. Naturally, the bear came back the next night! We once again asked for the trash to be taken out and it was not. We ended up keeping all of our trash bags in the house the whole weekend so that the bear would not be tempted by fresh trash. The hot tub had some issues and we were able to fix it when we finally got in touch with the host. The heat lamp on the front porch was out of gas. The property itself is fine, a little outdated but was in a good walking location from town and plenty of beds. Overall, for the price they are charging, we expected basic services and communication. Really disappointed.

Great place to stay with lots of room for our group of 11. Host was responsive regarding getting the propane tanks for the grill replaced.

Very nice. Not quite perfect but totally acceptable. Great location. On main road so outside noise is a bit much. Quiet inside. Could stand a bit of sprucing up but overall quite nice. The jacuzzi was dirty and was not really usable.

The location is conveniently located close to all the amenities. We enjoyed being able to grab groceries in a short distance. The area is beautiful and the house had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was a nice addition. We were able to do all our activities with only a short drive.

The cabin was nice although it was very close to main freeway you could not hear none of the traffic inside. Clean and roomy, it did get hot in the rooms even with ceiling fans, but had extra fans to use. Overral great stay except for the fridge not working wouldnt keep food cold, most food went bad and had to toss it wasnt going ti chance getting food poisoning. We only had one ice chest and had to buy ice everyday to keep milk, creamer and little food we had to fit cold. Freezer does work but not fridge. Not only did we lose out on money from food going bad and ice, we had to go out and buy food again for family of 11 since fridge wasnt working and we had plans to cook home cooked meals. Host only offered to reimburse for ice only.

Our stay was very nice. The facilities, Jacuzzi, hot tub and sauna enhanced the needs of our Western-100 racer. Kitchen, living area and bedrooms met all of our needs. The only item worth mentioning was the road noise. This location is right off of the main lake throughway. It was mostly audible outside on the decks, but constant.

The house was perfect. We had 7 adults, 4 teenagers and on toddler. We all fit perfect. I thought there was a back yard for some reason there was not. It was fairly clean, but my clean is different than others. the beach was nice, not very far away. the drive to other places we went to was also close. My family enjoyed the stay. We will be back.

Everything worked. Reasonably priced. The beds were super comfy, lots of towels provided. One downside is that we were unable to get into the private beach but it’s a 5-10 min drive from several top tier beaches. Drop dead gorgeous house. Dream vacation home for sure. 10/10 would stay again

Backyard was a delight

We enjoyed our stay. The house is large, warm, and clean. It’s right off the main road, minutes to Homewood ski resort, not far from the Palisades also. A couple of maintenance issues: 1. The stove doesn’t lit and there was no fire lighter or matches, which made preparing dinner difficult the first night. 2. The upstairs shower doesn’t drain well. Other than that, we have no complaints.

Super cozy Tahoe vacation!

Overall great location and amenities. Fast internet and beautiful home. Upstairs hot water runs out quickly so make sure you take short showers and master bath shower is clogged. Other than that we had a wonderful time at our stay.

Lovely location. Lots of room for our large group. The kitchen had all we needed for preparing many meals. The neighborhood was wonderful for walks and amenities. The sauna and hot tub were used after our winter outings. As others have mentioned, a little maintenance is needed, but home is comfy.

Stayed here 12/7-12/10 with my family of 8 adults, 3 kids and 4 pets. The house accommodated us greatly. I liked that the home was off a main road, it made driving easier as we are out-of-towners with limited snow driving experience. The host contact was very responsive. This was my first time using Vrbo so I was worried, but all turned out well. I’ll definitely rebook this in the future.

Love the private deck attached to the Master bedroom. Place had everything we needed for great weekend. Access to the private beach and the playground for my kids was amazing would recommend staying again.

Loved our stay. Everything was clean and the cabins access to the private beach made the trip for us. The hot tub in the master was complicated and we couldnt figure it out but the hot tub in the patio made up for it.

House was cute, however the pic and ad makes it look like a private place but It is not! The outdoor Spa/hotub is on the deck that is in front of the major avenue of the city. Also, for the price we would expect the place to be cleaner. The furniture inside the house was clean but the carpet in the living room was dusty. All the deck was dirty and dusty, we couldn't use any of the seats outside. The water in the hot tub smelled chlorine a lot and it wasn't clear. Directions for the private beach wasn't easily available. The house is big, have many bedrooms but mattresses seems to be old and so soft and bounce I had back pain/neck pain on the following day, maybe people who like that type of mattress might like. Not good for everyone though.

Needs a lot of work, a handyman and a week would do, but the location was perfect for us, there were mouse droppings in the cabinets, it needed a good cleaning, chapstick was under the bed in one room, a cup in another, the cleaning crew definitely needs retrained.

The property is in a great location. The private beach access was just amazing. The house is need of some minor maintenance. Kitchen cabinets don’t close, master bedroom has a broken mini blind. Easy access and the hot tub and sauna were lots of fun. We would consider staying there again.

The house is clean and provides what we needed. Walking distance of the beautiful association lake. Overall, we had a great experience and we are planing on booking this house in the future.

Location was outstanding for attending wedding at Sunnyside. And the house is very nice, but in need of some love. Mostly as depicted in listing pictures, but has experienced some wear since then. A couple of kitchen cabinet doors have broken hinges, every toilet seat was loose, a little bit of an ant problem, and probably most inconvenient, the microwave oven didn’t work - which seems simple, but is a bit of a big deal when on vacation (heating supermarket dishes and restaurant leftovers). Contact was nice and helpful, but took 6 wks to confirm if there was a pack and play for our toddler to sleep in. Would definitely consider staying again though if the upkeep has been addressed.

We felt so many things were not working. The microwave, the kitchen fan, light over the stove, stove was missing a knob, kitchen cupboard door was broken and stayed open entire stay, main window was cracked and no keys to trash bin and near the hot tub was flooded so we could not go in the hot tub. We would never stay here again. It was not worth the money we paid. They have got fix everything before renting it out again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house served the purpose nicely. Even tho it was the middle of record snow fall the location on the main road made the property very accessible. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the property needs a handy man and the manager was non existent. There were a number of little nuisance things wrong or broken. The most noticeable was the microwave which we made do without. But other little things like the three coffee machines on property not working (although my nephew actually cleaned up and repaired one and got it working) A window air conditioner still in place in the middle of winter with poor insulation allowing a steady cold draft into the house. A loose toilet seat... etc all things a good handy man could fix in a few hours most likely. I attribute the lack of trash pickup to the record weather which is what it is. Overall even with these little nuisances four stars it is which speaks well for the house.
