We did enjoy our stay, the weather was good, so we spent our days outside.

The studio apartment was very clean and had more or less all you needed. The shower room was fine, kitchen corner well equipped. The location was perfect, near to the sea, supermarket, restaurants and bus routes.

The apartment was very small, much smaller then we anticipated.There was nothing to sit on exept the 2 beds or very high wooden stools ,which was not very comfortable for somebody quite elderly.Also it would have been nice to have at least one bedside lamp.

It was “cleaned”, but not clean at all. Dirty floor, dust under the bed. Noisy reconstruction!

Huge noise and very insufficient cleaning! The owner did big reconstruction in the house with no warning or excuse. It’s very unpleasant to be woken up by a noise of drilling and hammer while being on vacation for a week and paying full price. So dust everywhere, dirty curtains above the bed, small ants on the floor etc.

Perfect!

Excellent location to explore Malaga and Andalusia, also few minutes from a lovely beach, bars, shops, restaurants. There is everything you need, kitchen equipment, beach towels, air conditioning, good shower and comfy beds. Iryna is a very nice host, we arrived late at night and she was waiting to check us in. Highly recommend.

A crazy woman shouting at guests checking in, YES. Aggressive Husband inconceivably barging into a paid room and assaulting a guest while refusing to leave? THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. Refusing to check in guests and turning them away into the dark streets at midnight? THEY THI K THEY OWE YOU THAT. Run. Far away. Never stay here!

I would not return.

Located 8 min walk from the beach, it is reasonably priced. But if you are looking for price/quality ratio rather than price it would not be your choice.

Very small for 2 people, rusty hooks in the bathroom, the screen-like door of the toilet, screws missing in the hinges of the toilet seat cover, no small cups making use of the coffee machine impossible, no window screens so you cannot open windows because of mosquitoes.

Stressfull

I liked the shower and the bed

I arrived late in the evening (23.00 o 'clock, as agreed with the host) and couldn't find the right doorbell. Standing in front of the totally dark house I tried to call and sent messages to the host, but no answer. A neighbour helped me to find the right bell (no signs/name/nothing!) and the host opened the door. She behaved very grumpy and when I asked why she didnt react on my messages she said she doesnt use her phone late in the evening. Around 23.45 I discovered my bed had no blanket, only sheets. So I had to ask my host for this, and now I had the feeling she started to hate me. The room had a bad smell, and I discovered an ashtray with cigarette butts in the window frame, although it was a non-smoking room. I put the ashtray out of my room. The next morning the ashtray was back in my window.

A convenient, clean, and comfortable stay.

It is very comfortable and easy to get to. Super close to the beach! It's also nice for those getting to and from the airport. It's well situated between the airport and the city center. The bus stop to the city center is very close. The hosts were very friendly.

I was traveling with a huge checked luggage bag and didn't realize there was no elevator. The host's husband helped me carry it up the stairs, though. So, if you have mobility issues or a heavy bag, just be aware of this.

Adequate for one person

Location and price

Room to small. Double bed pushed to wall. No plug for bedside lamp with light switch by door at other end of room making dangerous stumbling across the room to use the bathroom in the night or getting into bed at night. Bed with strange awkward duvet folded under mattress with sheet and cover that are wrapped around duvet. As nobody cleaned the room during the week the bed became uncomfortable by day 3. Tv high up on wall in parallel to bed means looking at it twisting head . Steep narrow stairs from entrance means carrying luggage from entrance off street difficult especially as room was on second floor and landing carpet was a trip hazard on second floor at head of stair.

Great stay, friendly host, great location and facilities

Really enjoyed the stay! Great location - easily accessible by metro and only few stops from the city centre! The area is very calm and nice, the host is very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable! The sea is 10mins walking away from the property. Thanks and recommend it!

Very clean, good facilities, hob microwave kettle coffee machine Toaster TV and a balcony all you could need. easy to check in and out.

Very poor

Unfortunately owner failed to advise the air conditioner in the room was broken until after they had already taken our passport details and checked us in. Being in the height of summer with 40+ degree celcius days, and 30 degree celsius still at midnight, plus humidity in Malaga, it was impossible to sleep in the room. Had to open window for air, but it had no fly screen so mosquitos came in. This resulted in infected mosquito bites. The owner was aware of the broken air conditioner days prior to our arrival but failed to advise this despite us being in communication with them day prior to our arrival.

Amazing experience! Thank you

The little studio is very cozy and clean. The receptionist, I think her name is Iryna, is the nicest person ever. I asked her to help me on some occasions and she did her best to help me solve my problems. The studio has everything you could need. I liked having a balcony to sit on but also to dry my clothes in. You have a washing machine in the studio and you can wash and dry your clothes anytime you want. Not many studios or appartement have that! She also left some snacks in the closet, so nice of her. The studio is three blocks away from the beach of Huelin, you can get there in 2 minutes. There is a Mercadona 1 minute away as well, and the metro and bus are also 1 minute away from the studio. Iryna has also a respect policy where everyone should be quiet at night. I had no noise complaints during my stay, and if there were, she would've solved it quicky.

The only thing that was missing is the air conditioning. I was notified that the air conditioning wasn't working right before my arrival. Although it was kind of late to say this, they had put a ventilator in my studio which was affective, but not quite as the real thing.

great location, about 10 min walk from the beach, close to restaurants and supermarkets. Host was accomidating and allowed us to put our bags in the room before it was ready for us to in. there was a washing machine but we had to buy our own washing supplies in which we left at the accomodation for other guests to use.

the room was tiny, the aircon was broken although the host did offer us a full refund in response which was very nice.

"Adventures in Malaga: Balancing Challenges and Hospitality"

Our 2-night stay in Malaga with our family of four, including two children, was a mix of unexpected challenges and warm hospitality. The owner's proactive approach was notable. Despite a malfunctioning AC, she offered free cancellation, but we accepted ventilators due to our tired children. Quick solutions were provided for other issues like a non-functional fridge. The room, though cozy, had necessary amenities for a short stay, along with thoughtful beach towels. The 5-minute walk to the beach and nearby shops was a highlight, and easy access to the city center added convenience. Despite setbacks, the owner and her husband were very helpful.

Small studio close to beach and transport

Compact space with kitchen and bathroom cleverly arranged. Two high stools to sit at bar-table come in handy to reach items placed on high shelves, such as coffee machine. Air-conditioning fine. A few minutes walk to the beach. And few minutes walk to buses going into the centre of Malaga, to the metro, and to the airport bus. Beach towels are included as part of the linen. Friendly and helpful people running the place. Comfortable beds. Quiet street.

I had asked if I could leave the luggage there during my last day, was told yes. It was indeed possible. Problem: when I came back to fetch it (at the time I had given), I rang the doorbell, nobody came. I tried to phone, "mobile not available". I tried to go to the other side of the building in the street behind (as suggested to me in the morning), but couldn't identify which door /building . I repeatedly rang, and eventually, after banging on the door, they heard me. It took 15 minutes, during which I got increasingly worried, as I had a flight to catch. Luckily I had allowed plenty of time. So no harm done.

small place but very clean

The girl meet up and hand over a key, also she did explain about property and wifi which this time did not fully work but as we stayed the only one night was ok.

Clean and ideal for self catering

Greeted on arrival by the pleasant host. It is in a quiet area. This is an extremely small compact room with twin beds, a kitchenette, shower room and toilet. The host has thought of everything: towels, beach towels, toilet paper, bedding, a small hob, toaster, kettle, fridge etc. Superbly clean and good for self catering. I think for the price I could not have expected more. There is a supermarket nearby and restaurants.

Even though I had downloaded the map, I got lost. It is a residential area near Playa Huelin, a good 15 mins walk from the Maria Zambrano railway station. As it is listed as hotel, I did not realise this is basically a house divided into let rooms. The bed was too soft for me, and I tended to roll towards one side too.

It was close to the beach front. It was spotlessly clean It didn't matter that it was absolutely tiny, as it was only used as a base, but it did have everything you'd need It was only a 10 minute walk to the train station so was excellent for jumping a train to various places up and down the coast

The beds were so uncomfortable. Booked a double but was changed to a twin. They looked like bunk beds that had been chopped in half. The mattress were too firm and wasn't comfortable

A nice quiet location within walking distance of the train and bus stations. Room with all facilities, e.g. fridge. Afternoon sun enabled sunbathing, which was the reason for my trip to Malaga.

No bedside lamp. Perhaps one can be installed at the head of one of the two beds.
