It boasts spectacular year-round Lake Michigan views and beach access which is just a stones throw away. Travel 2 driveways north down a sanded path and step onto a beautiful beach near the "Big Red" lighthouse and Holland pier. The home has a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and 3 covered porches.
The Space:
This stunning, 3-story beach home, with an elevator that services all three levels, will satisfy all of your vacation needs! It boasts spectacular year-round Lake Michigan views and beach access which is just a stones throw away. Travel 2 driveways north down a sanded path and step onto a beautiful beach near the "Big Red" lighthouse and Holland pier.
The home has a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and 3 covered porches. The first and second floors have bedrooms 1 and 2, 1 day bed with trundle (2 total twin mattresses), 1 bath, and 1 covered porch with 4 chairs and a cozy gas fire pit. The second floor has bedroom 3 and 4. Bedroom 4 is considered the master bedroom and also has a space with a day bed with a trundle that can be closed off for privacy. This room also has a private deck attached. The third floor has an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area with a powder room. This opens to a covered outdoor dining area with gas grill that overlooks the beautiful Lake Michigan and some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see. The washer and dryer are located on this floor as well. In total there are 2 queens beds, 4 twin beds, 2 twin beds that can be made into a king, 2 twin day beds and 2 twin trundle beds.
The home is equipped with Wi-Fi, 4 cableTV's, a wine cooler, bath and bed linens, all kitchen appliances as well as cooking, baking, and grilling items. Beach towels are available for your convenience and beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Paddleboards, kayaks, jet skis, bikes, and other water sport activities are available for rent nearby at Eldean Marina. The beautiful town of Holland is located just 15 minutes away and has wonderful restaurants, shopping, and other attractions such as the famous Holland Farmer's Market. The Saugatuck/Douglas area is also located 15 minutes south and is a charming waterfront town filled with great shopping, fine dining experiences, outdoor entertainment and nightlife. This home is tucked in a wooded, hilly setting on the shores of Lake Michigan. This will be a quiet yet luxurious get-away, yet you're minutes from wonderful tourist attractions and beaches. This is a perfect spot to create lasting vacation memories! Please note that beach conditions do change from season to season.

This home is tucked in a wooded, hilly setting on the shores of Lake Michigan. This will be a quiet yet luxurious get-away, yet you're minutes from wonderful tourist attractions and beaches. This is a perfect spot to create lasting vacation memories!

This property has 2-3 parking spots on site depending on vehicle size.

The beach access point is a short 2-3 min walk, downhill on the way to the beach, uphill on the way back.

Our family is scattered in three states and four cities, so this trip was to bring us all together in one lovely setting. On a previous trip the rental we chose was cool in the photos and Very disappointing on arrival. Sunshine escape is exactly as shown. I loved that it was clean, beautifully decorated and perched such that the upper floor view was awesome. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was nicely furnished which was good for our family meals. I appreciate that there were leftover items so that we did not have to buy salt and pepper, coffee filters etc. These little things mean a so much when you have limited time together. The place has great explanations for the remotes, etc. We needed to communicate with the local managers a couple of times and they were super responsive. The house has multiple hangout areas and spaces large enough for all be in one place too. When you walk the beach, be sure you note where the steps lead! We forgot the first time we went out and spent time finding our way back up. That was on us though. The cell service was intermittent, which affected finding the house at the end and early communications as everyone arrived. But we were not there to be on on phones, so it was okay. I just recommend that you not try to conduct a zoom conference call etc. Thank you for an incredible home to reconnect our family.
