The first time I went to Anchor House, I was snapped up by the ocean and the sky. This exceptional property enjoys a breathtaking Caribbean Sea view, open outlook, from the sea at your feet extending through every shade of turquoise and true blue to the far horizon.
I fell immediately in love with this property. Bathing in the saltwater mirror pool, facing the ocean, was the icing on the cake. I was ready to go in 5mn walk to Maho where many gourmet restaurants offer great menus. I also found luxury boutiques, art galleries, bars and casino, hairdresser, drugstore, supermarket, as well as a fabulous spa, an 18-hole golf course and a choice of nearby beaches. Finally, I stopped to the well known Sunset Grill & Bar to savor a cocktail”.
Anchor House is situated in the residential area of Beacon Hill, quiet oasis of luxury and elegance on the shore of the Caribbean Sea.
As many press articles describe it the residence designed as an extension of the natural environment is built directly on the rock to become an integral part of the cliff.
The clean architectural line of this apartment combines timeless elegance and avant-garde style. Generously open to the outside, the east-west orientation ensures to appreciate natural light with excellent exposure and unforgettable sunsets.
This modern apartment, designed, furnished and decorated with artworks by international artists and designers famous offers a living area of 3200 sq Ft, 3 king-sized bedrooms with bathroom “en-suite” and dressing. Each room has an area of 270 sq Ft all with bathroom “en-suite”, the master bedroom offers a drop down ceiling TV, a large dining-living room with open modern kitchen, 3 private underground parking spaces are served by lift. The place was overall very nice. The location is about a 10 minute walk to Maho Beach. The neighborhood felt safe. Several large speed bumps on the way in so i would recommend an SUV. You do have to drive through the Maho Beach area to get in and out which can be clogged with people during the day.The AC worked well and we always had enough hot water. The washer and dryer did their jobs efficiently. The pool and deck are awesome. The infinity pool overlooked the sunset (in March) and you can watch the planes come into SXM. If you have small kids...or drunks...i would note that the infinity pool drops 20 or so feet to the ocean so be forewarned.The kitchen has all the needed appliances but is a little lacking in pots and pans. We made it work but it was a little challenging some days. It does not have a grill which would have been nice.If you have mobility issues the condo itself is all one level with a lot of space to move around. The path from the gate to the front door has a few very small steps that might require a helping hand if you are unsteady but they are not full size steps.Overall a great stay. Would recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay here again

The house is exactly as portrayed and conveniently located. It was beautiful!!! The kitchen was appropriately stocked, and the house included towels for the beach. Stacey was great at helping us get situated. 10/10 and I fully intend to return. Thank you for everything!!!

I want to share that the location of this property is perfect. A short walk to local food/beverage and some shopping. We walked allot which made things easy for our group.The view from the patio is as amazing as the photos show. We have a few complaints but it's nothing I don't feel the owner and manger can address before your stay :-)The ice machine did not work. We could never get the ceiling fans to work. One of our bathroom sinks did not drain. The maid did show up on Thursday but from what we could tell the only thing they did was dump the garbage and sweep the main living area. We wanted to use the safe but when I asked how to use it, no one responded. I tried to google it, but we could never figure it out, so we just carried our items with us.Again, these are all things that def can be taken care of for your visit! Just know that it's location and the home itself, you will enjoy. Do a full walk thru upon arrival and just be sure to address any issues you have.
