About this house rental
LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

Creekside Cottage is brand new and ready for you to come and relax and enjoy the sounds of nature! Located in Riverbend at Lake Lure, and offers two bedrooms and two baths, plus an upper loft for kids or a nice place to escape for an afternoon nap. The living room and kitchen's high ceilings expand this small but super cool and modern home. The kitchen has granite counters and beautiful tile work, and the beautiful tile extends into the bathrooms; the hall bath has a large walk-in shower, and the master has a great soaking tub and open shower. Truly a pleasurable home, and we feel confident you will enjoy your time here! This is a quiet, family-friendly area, and we are excited to have you stay with us.
Riverbend at Lake Lure Amenities
Enjoy all Riverbend has to offer. This home is just a short walk to the lakes in Riverbend, Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake, and the trails along the Broad River. There is a nice sandy beach on Mirror Lake for your summer enjoyment: swim in Mirror Lake, build sandcastles on Mirror Lake Beach (there’s a play area for children), and have a meal at the covered picnic site complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs, stone fireplaces to BBQ lunch, restrooms, and spectacular views, hike, bike, or jog one of the many trails, or sit and relax by the waterfall and river.

Creekside Cottage is perfect for every season! Enjoy the beautiful snowy weather in the winter, where a cozy cottage feels just right. Visit in the summer when the weather is perfect all the time, and you can enjoy the soothing summer breezes and beautiful sunsets from every window, not to mention the awesome mountain views. Everything is beginning to bloom in the spring, and the area is known for the beauty of its autumn colors. The cabin had everything we needed for an extended weekend and comfortably housed two couples. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the hot tub was perfect during the cold evenings. We would definitely use this property again if back in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. Great location to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Was a little haul to Biltmore. We enjoyed the quiet of the place and the hot tub.

The experience was A+ except that the GPS sent us the long, winding way. Maybe it gave better directions in the descriptions and we didn’t notice but it needs to be noted and clarified which way to avoid!!!! My grandsons loved the creek and the lake near the property!
