Beautiful mahogany trim throughout, matched by new sapele cabinets in kitchen. Recently-renovated kitchen (granite counters and custom sapele cabinets/drawers) and bathroom (new tub, tile, and Moen fixtures). Very quiet. Carpeted floors with tile in hallway, bathroom, and kitchen. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Dining area seats 4. King bed in bedroom. Queen sofa sleeper in living room. TV and DVD player in living room. TV in bedroom. Large lanai. Louvered windows for flow-through ventilation. Remote-controlled (wall-mounted) ceiling fans in bedroom and living room (no strings to pull). At rear of 33-acre ocean-front property featuring plantation-style low-rise buildings. Great place for a couple. Very cozy. Fresh towels were great during our stay. It was a long walk to the pool across the street so we didn’t visit too much. Some spices would have been nice for cooking or bbqing. We bought some of the Salty Wahine spices and took them home.

This was our third visit to Kiahuna Plantation and Bill’s condo was fantastic! Very well stocked with cookware and beach gear (chairs, umbrella, coolers, fins). There were tons of books, like a mini library! The bed and pillows were super comfortable (which is hard to find in a rental). The AC is always a plus on those warm days. He was excellent with communication about the area and the condo.

My wife and I could not say enough good things about our stay. The location was a quick walk to the beach, food, and other amenities. There was even a shopping center a short drive away from our location. Our room was exactly what we needed, clean, quiet, and had plenty of stocked cooking utensils and beach related items. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, which was peaceful and had views of the lush trees and plants the area has to offer. The host was extremely helpful, and we are so grateful for his recommendations and kindness. Highly recommend the stay here!

Our family had a great stay, enjoying the easy walking access to Poipu Beach and quick drive to Koloa for restaurants and other amenities. The condo had everything we needed and the resort amenities including frequent towel changes and trash service were a big plus. Bill provided a lot of detailed information that helped us pack correctly and enjoy the area. Overall good value.

I had everything I wanted or needed in Bill’s condo. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, appliances and utensils I needed. The living and dining room were very comfortable. A few days I had some work to do on the lanai, birds would join me on the ledge. It was beautiful. The grounds are lovely and the beaches promise many delights!

Bill’s condo at Kiahuna Plantation, made our vacation enioyable and very relaxing. The condo is very clean, the bed was comfortable, and had everything we needed. The condo is tucked away in the back, farther from the beach than most of the other rooms at Kiahuna, but still a very easy walk, and also very close to the Athletic Club (if you want to enjoy the pool). One of our fave things to do, was walk over to Poipu beach at sunrise and sunset to see the turtles. Before we arrived, Bill gave us a very detailed instructions on everything from directions to the condo, to check in process, to food recommendations. There was a few times, I referred back to his notes, so they absolutely came in handy. What was the cherry on top of an amazing stay, was Bill accommodating our late check out when we had a red eye flight. My only advice to anyone staying in the future, if you have questions on anything, you probably have better luck reaching out to Bill directly rather than the property management Castle Resorts. Anytime we called them with a question, they didn’t seem to know much. (Ex. Didn’t know if beach chairs were provided on beach or if they charge) Also seemed confused by our late check out on our last day, even though we verified with them during check in. In the end, it worked out just fine! Overall, I would highly recommend Bill’s place

Bill was very communicative prior to our trip, with several tips. The pictures are dated -- the place actually looks way nicer on the inside than expected! The boogie boards and snorkel gear were also a plus. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The property is well-maintained and clean with courteous staff. The location is convenient to the pool and athletic club. Parking is plentiful and convenient. Although the location is a short walk to the beach it gave us the opportunity to enjoy a morning walk and take in the beautiful grounds. Most of all, the owner is pleasant, responsive and communication was excellent. We visited in July, during peak summer season, the AC was a plus and kept the unit cool and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at this property and think you will too!

Bill's place in Poipu was perfect for our family of 3. He was really knowledgeable about the area and gave us all the information we needed to make our stay easy and relaxing. We had an amazing time at the Kiahuna Plantation condo. The location is great, grounds were beautiful and the inside was very nice. The pictures definitely need to be updated as they don’t do this condo justice. Everything was very nice and well kept. King size bed was very comfortable. We have been to Kauai several times and we would absolutely book this condo again! Bill, the owner, is very communicative and gives you plenty of detail about the condo itself, check in details and what to do while in Kauai. This condo is perfect! Don’t second guess, just book it! Bill was a great host and sent us all the important information (very detailed) in advance, which helped us a lot. The apartment is located in a beautiful resort a little further up from the beach. We really liked this spot, because it was the same distance to the pool, gym, as it was to the ocean. The beach was fantastic, crystal clear water and golden sand. You were able to get free towels and beach chairs at the cabana. The pool area was outstanding. We were traveling with a toddler and she loved going with me on the water slide. The pool has a waterfall and other fun things, specially for kids. For adults there is an amazing gym with classes and the restaurant has great reviews and has good food and drinks. You were able to get free to towels at the pool as well. The apartment has a nice garden view and is quite. It is well stocked and everything worked well. The bed was really comfortable and we overall really enjoyed our time there.

Bill’s condo was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Bill was very helpful in providing information about finding the condo, accessing the amenities and suggesting good places to eat nearby. We loved the location because it placed us midway between hiking and outdoor activities in the Waimea Canyon and Wailua River State Park. It is an easy stroll to Poipu and Breneke Beaches where Green Sea Turtles and Monk Seals pull out to rest on the shore. Allerton Gardens is a short drive away. The condo is located in the Hiakuna Plantation which is beautiful and impeccably kept. So even if what you want to do is sit and relax in a stunning setting you can’t go wrong with this location. We highly recommend this condo.
