New home is decorated with coastal and Acadia Park themes, beautifully-appointed, yet with a cozy feeling of "home." This cottage sleeps up to eight comfortably with many amenities, including a wrap-around outside deck and vaulted scenic-view windows to enjoy. This home is centrally located, convenient for Island visitors wanting exploration of Mt. Desert Island and its 5 harbors, scenic horse drawn-carriage rides/bicycle trips/all-level hikes, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Jordan's Pond with its famous Tea House serving popovers every afternoon. Cadillac Mountain boasts amazing views, and if tourists desire, the sunrise every morning is spectacular. This was the perfect place to stay as our family explored Acadia and surrounding areas. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved being in the woods but close enough to the road access. We would highly recommend staying here!

This house was such an amazing home base for our Acadia National Park / Mountain Desert Island / Coastal Maine adventures! Hidden away from road noise, this house hits the bullseye for amount of space, comfort, cleanliness, amenities and location. Bob and Heather left great recommendations about sites & restaurants and are super easy to communicate with. I would recommend others to stay here for their vacation!
