About this apartment rental
This Destin West condo overlooking the lagoon style pool is nicely decorated in warm and inviting colors throughout the unit with upscale furnishings that will provide you a comfortable home away from home. Enjoy this 3br/2ba unit with views of the lazy river that can sleep up to 8. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV and private master bath with jacuzzi tub, double vanity and lighted walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and TV. The third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds and wall mounted TV. The family room has a very large sectional sofa for additional guests with a smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances which includes a side-by-side fridge/freezer with a water and ice maker, dishwasher, oven with smooth top range, and an over-the-range microwave. A full size washer/dryer is in the unit for your convenience. This unit is tiled throughout with carpet in the bedrooms. The living area opens up to a large covered balcony with table and chairs for casual dining or entertaining while watching the sunset over the bay. The powder-white beach is a short walk across an elevated private foot bridge.
There is free wifi high speed internet access in the unit and many local attractions that are convenient and affordable.
While staying at Destin West you will have access to all of their wonderful amenities. Send your cares downstream as you float away and surrender to the relaxing currents of our 700-foot long lazy river that winds its way through lush landscaping. Place is outdated. As in could use a paint job. Not enough sitting space to watch TV. The TV needs to be updated. Pain in the butt that each TV takes 2 remotes (power/ volume ) and then to change the channel. At night you could see other condos that had bigger TV. The living room ceiling fan light cover must have been broken due to no cover on it. All beds need a new mattress. It wasn't cool sleeping on a king mattress that has a good size dip In the middle. Washer and dryer are old, the nobs fell off. The kitchen cabinet nobs also fell off. Learned to Not wash the white bathroom towels with any clothing due to those towels she'd and got white all on clothing. The air conditioning worked good. The glass walkout door was Really and I mean really tough to open. So everyone went through the master room door to get to outside balcony. The balcony was big and spacious. The kids room closet folding door came right off the hinge. There is NOO drawer space to put clothes. They had a closet to hang items up, but I prefer to put things in drawers and not hang them up. The only drawers they have are 2 nightstands in each of the king and queen room. So we kept all clothes in our travel bags ( that was Not cool). Also we found numerous spiders in the bedrooms, so at night it made for uneasy sleeping ( bc you don't know what's crawling on you). Other than all that the place was decent. It was a roof over our head and the kitchen was decent size with good counter space. Could use a bigger kitchen table( only 4 chairs) for eating for 9 people, so some people had to go outside to eat. We have stayed at better condos so we won't be coming back here. I would pay more for one with more amenities. July 2021
