About this house rental
The Snookmore is perfectly located just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 8 miles from downtown Asheville. Just hop on the Parkway and have the Appalachian wilderness at your beck and call or mosey on down to the hottest town the South has to offer.
This is one of two rental units in Snookville along with the Snookery (house, sleeps 12). The Snookery is also on VRBO (vrbo/1185282).
Nestled in the southern tip of Snookville, the Snookmore is designed for front porch rocking. With the Blue Ridge Mountains peaking through the treetops and the community garden just a stone's throw away, all you'll need is a iced beverage of your choosing and life will slow right on down.
The house itself is both cozy and has room to spread out. Constructed in 2107, it has a fully equipped kitchen for the gourmet chef, the option of a Keurig, Coffee maker or hot tea pot for the morning haze, and both a dining room and back porch dining table for any meal setting you please. Also on the back porch you'll find a grill for the vacation cookout and a hot tub for the end of the day wind down. Up on the second floor, there's another porch off both bedrooms that's nestled into the Carolina woods. Down on the ground level, there's room to relax and play with a carved out nook for darts as well as a foosball table and big screen TV. With Roku installed and free Netflix, it's perfect for that rainy day movie. For the clear night, there's a fire pit and there's nothing better than a good s'mores cooked in the flames. The only trick will be leaving the Snookmore!

At the last minute we decided to come to the mountains to hopefully enjoy some snow and did we hit the jackpot! Not only did it snow but this home is one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at in the NC mountains and we visit this area several time a year. The home had everything we needed plus so much more! The hot tub was a huge bonus in addition to the climbing club house for the kids to play on. My kids had a blast here and bc the home is big we had way more then enough room to spreed out and enjoy just being snowed in for a long weekend. The owner was great and made sure we knew he was available if anything came up which was super awesome since we were there during a winter storm. He even plowed the driveway and road up to the house!!! He also worked with us at check out time since we were unable to leave on time due to icy roads We can’t wait to come back again when its warmer so we can enjoy all the hiking and breweries near by.

Not only was the house stunning, but we enjoyed the game room, and spa. The fire pit was very nice but we enjoyed gathering on the oversized front porch. We also appreciated the nice extras— coffee and sample beers. We could not have asked for more!

This property is so beautiful and it is in a great location! The home was VERY clean and had everything available we could need from linens to coffee! The outside porch with the hot tub was wonderful and really made our stay great! I would highly recommend this house and owner to anyone looking to stay in the Asheville area!
