The loft itself is beautiful and the patio was an added bonus. We had everything we needed, towels, kitchen items, microwave, Nespresso, large fridge, comfortable furniture and bed, air con. It was wonderfully clean and in a fab location for everything including the markets. Lovely touch being left a small bottle of local port as a welcome gift. Great communication from the owners.
A little suggestion but only a personal preference - a small TV in the bedroom would be nice.
While the location was perfect, I’ve got to be honest, the noise coming from the street, even 3 floors up, was pretty bad- general cars going past, singing, shouting, cars revving. There is a craft ale bar downstairs (next door but one) but it didn’t seem the type of place to have shouting and loud music between 11pm and 3am. One evening the singing outside and shouting went on until 4am. Upon arrival I spotted two pairs of ear plugs for guests so I’m guessing the owners have had this conversation before. I just cannot sleep with earplugs though! I know the owners can’t do too much about, but maybe have a word with local bars about respecting residents or look at some sound proofing??

Lovely property. Easy to follow the check in instructions (the second floor is not the one with the blue seat but the one above it). Clean and well organised. And the hair dryer has a diffuser, which is much appreciated. Very pleased with our stay here. Supermarket and market within one to two minutes walking distance. Cheap luggage storage at company across the street (€12 a day for a large locker). Would stay here again.
The microwave is more complicated than the check in instructions 😂 but we figured it out.
