About this house rental
This property is a lakefront environmental haven & bird sanctuary teaming with herons, egrets, anhingas, roseate spoonbills, osprey, & eagles, along w abundant turtles & fish in the lake. You may also spot an alligator or two, & see many raccoons in the evening as night falls. Enjoy your freshly-ground morning coffee on the lanai or dock before you start your day on this 1/2 acre peaceful property where everything will be put back into perspective! You may also feel free to bring your fishing pole & cast off the dock for a lazy afternoon.
The property is conveniently located 3 minutes from I-75 & I-4 which have direct access to both Orlando & Tampa & all associated area attractions including Disney World, Universal Studios, LEGOLAND, the Tampa Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Tampa Riverwalk & Sail Pavilion, River cruises (including the Cross-Bay Ferry to downtown St. Pete), paddlebike & paddleboat rentals, historic Ybor City & nightlife, & Tampa History Museum to name a few. Pinellas County beaches are all also only 45-60 minutes away, perfect for spending the day where you can watch the beautiful sunset & enjoy a fresh blackened grouper sandwich before enjoying a trip over the causeway or Skyway bridge back home.
You will have access to your private bedroom & bath, open kitchen, living & dining areas, reading nook & lanai. Most all areas of the house include a view of the lake & there is a grill available for barbecuing in the lanai. Laundry facilities & supplies are also available for your convenience.
Please be aware that this property is my home, although I will not be there during your stay. I am renovating another property a short distance away so I will always only be a text message away for anything that you may need! There are also two outdoor cats that come onto the property. Even though they are outside cats, if you have pet allergies (or don't like cats), this is probably not the property for you! However, no animals are permitted indoors @any time due to potential issues w guest allergies. Thank you for your understanding!

My wife and I had a great experience at this vacation home. Bonnie was a most gracious hostand the house is stocked with everything you could ever need while on vacation. Close to all major Beaches, attractions and Restaurants. Highly Recommend!

Everything about this stay was great. Bonnie was very friendly and very accommodating. Nice backyard overlooking the lake. Loved the privacy and quiet neighborhood. Parks near by to go for walks everyday. Definitely check out Dover Park about 7 miles away. Beaches were only a 45 min drive and seafood restaurants were awesome. Would definitely stay here again if ever coming back to this area.

My wife and I stayed about a week for a quiet getaway vacation and really enjoyed our stay. Bonnie was great and everything in the house made us feel like a part of her family. Lake view is relaxing and we had everything we needed.
