Our place is Centrally Located in Waco. You are close to a Target, a Starbucks and HEB...not far from Baylor and Magnolia. The house is tucked away on a peaceful, quiet street. The layout of our house provides a big open living space that is great for families (with kids) and big groups. If you love to cook, our kitchen is a great space to host.

Come stay in our Newly Renovated German Schmear house. 1970s Ranch-style turned European Eclectic. Plenty of room with a great open floor plan. Natural light throughout. We are located around 10-15 Minutes from downtown, Magnolia Silos, Baylor & McLane Stadium.

The property itself was clean and pleasant but there were some caviates which you should know about. First the back of the house has a converted garage which was renamed the cottage. The address is difficult to see so we had individuals attempting to get in our house and were Shining flashlights on the house and waking up our guests. People thought someone was breaking in and it was unsettling. Second neighbors played music till late in the night EXTREMELY loud which disallowed sleep. Finally the place needs bug control. Many cockroaches

We had a short trip to The Silos, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Table . The house is very close to all theses and Baylor University as well. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels, fans for each bedroom and kitchen supplies. The check out procedure was simple. We would definitely stay here again.

We came to Waco to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place to rest after each event We had plenty of room for five adults To spread out yet, be close together. My husband and I grew up in Waco and I actually grew up right down the street from where we stayed so it was so nice to reminisce and enjoy the neighborhood again so close to everything we needed: shopping restaurants, and all the activities we had a great day thanks for sharing your home

What a treat staying in one of the homes Chip and Joanna renovated. The first floor certainly had the Gaine’s stamp on it. The second floor was fine but nothing compared to the first floor. Highly recommend if you are a Fixer Upper fan.

If the property owners want to rely on the Fixer Upper connection, they need to make every effort to insure that expectations around a quality experience are met. The first floor main living area is nicely decorated per “Fixer Upper” expectations. Second floor with 3 bedrooms and all bathrooms are original except for paint. Overall, the house is looking a little tired. The cleaning crew clearly needs supervision and/ or inspection. The tile floors on first floor needed a good scrubbing only because walking barefoot (one night) in the house resulted in dirty feet. There was a fishy smell in the kitchen that required flushing the garbage disposal with hot water and soap. No paper towels were provided in the kitchen nor K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker. No instructions were provided on how to use the TV (when to use the cable remote vs the Roku remote). No password provided for Netflix use. We were instructed that under no circumstances should we park on the street, yet there was a vehicle parked in front of the house the entire time we were there. We learned after the fact that the vehicle belonged to the VRBO renters that occupied the adjacent guest cottage. We should have been informed that there were other people at the property. I made this reservation on behalf of friends and it is embarrassing to have to apologize to them for a multitude of small and easily-solvable issues.

Extremely clean. We used 3 of the beds and all were reported to be very comfortable. Sheets were sooo soft. Communication with owners was spot on. Stay here, if you want, because of the Fixer Upper connection. More so stay here because it is clean and a very comfortable home!

Our experience in this home was five star. The home was clean and fully stocked with anything you could need. We had plenty of soft towels and the beds were so comfortable. We spent 6 fun filled days exploring Waco for Spring Break and celebrating a family birthday. We are fans of Fixer Upper and Magnolia Network shows so it was fun to see all the places (and some faces) we’ve seen on our favorite shows. The German Schmear house is a great location and the owners are the best we’ve ever encountered! And we VRBO a lot. If you love Magnolia like we do or you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Waco, this is a great home to book!

My Mom, sister in law and I came to Waco to experience The Silos and were so excited to stay in this Fixer Upper! It was just perfect for our stay and Jeff and Sara were amazing hosts. We had a small issue come up so I sent a message to Jeff and he got back to me immediately and made a plan to fix the issue the same day. I’d definitely stay here again :)

What a wonderful experience it was to stay in this fabulously comfortable home. The beds are so comfortable and the home is charming. We had a mother daughter trip to Waco, and all of us, are Fixer upper fans. The location is convenient to everything and we always felt safe and secure. We had one night to stay in Waco to visit The Silos and staying in this beautiful Fixer Upper home was the icing on the cake! It is just as the pictures show! Beautiful, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need! It was such a fun experience to watch the renovations while sitting in the home! We stayed here for a girls trip to Waco. Location was perfect, the house was clean and so beautiful! Nice quiet neighborhood, easy to get in and out of, close to everything you need. Loved all the notes with info and light switches marked, they covered all the small details great, something I wish more people did. The mattresses and bedding was so comfortable, which is very important to me when staying somewhere. The place and owners are wonderful and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again or recommending it. Thank you Jeff and Sarah, the KC girls loved it and all the great memories we made here and in Waco!

The house was just like on website. Was very clean and well equipped. Very convenient to stores and not far from Baylor University. The only thing that was a little off was the sink in kitchen never got hot water, the master bathroom left sink water trickled out. Maybe a little more explanation on how to use TV. Otherwise it was fabulous! I will totally suggest to others.
