About this cabin rental

Here at Twin Valley Horse Ranch you can enjoy the adventure of mountain living and the peacefulness of the mountains. Avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in good 'ole fashion country fun! The ranch is built mostly of trees we logged from our mountains giving it the western/rustic feel of days gone by. Cabin is made from round logs and is cozy with trees all around. Includes private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, heat/air and private cookout area. Meals are not included and must bring own bath towels and sheets ( one full bed, two twin beds, 2 futons.) .

Step out of your cabin and hike our many trails, relax on the swing listening to the night sounds and enjoying the stars, hike to the outdoor chapel ,letting the creative juices flow, walk to the barn and help with morning/evening chores. The spring fed pond is great for fishing/swimming, cooking out and roasting marshmallows around the campfire ( plenty of wood to gather) Pavilion includes table/chairs.

Help feed and care for the petting animals which include donkey, fainting goats, 2 mini horses, kittens, horses, pot belly pig, rabbits........ride in the back of the pickup with the feed, hay, dog and children and make the rounds! I encourage all the 'hands on time' you can stand!

We weren’t exactly sure what to expect. I’ve done Vrbo before, but this was completely different. My husband and I walked the trails, fed the critters, fell in love with a mule named Molly, and had family over for fishing fun.Janice was wonderful, she introduced herself around the firepit our first evening. I didn’t participate in the farm chores due to it being at 6:30 am . In the evenings we were off doing other things. We needed a break from technology and TVR gave us that and so much more. Bring carrots!!!

A little slice of heaven perfect for me . Extra bonus huge bathtub with super hot water. So after playing with the animals I had a relaxing bath. I will be back. Thanks Janice

Our family enjoyed our two days at Janice’s place. My daughter was heartbroken to leave her two new besties (Indigo and Ranger) Janice was a super kind host. Her wake-up call to the world was pretty amazing! If you’re the kind of person who needs Netflix at night, a strong WiFi signal, this cabin might not suits you. If you want to be close from nature, in a comfy/rustic environment, a close drive from the park: go for it!
